I was thinking of doing an forum awards thread for 2010 with things such as "Best poster", "Best post" etc etc, do you think this is a good idea and if so would you all take part?


Also, any suggestions for award categories? Cheers guys.

Sounds good, i remember we did something similar last year, so an old post is probably hanging around with all the categories etc. I'll see if i can find it

Here's what we had last year, can maybe change/expand it a bit?

Best Poster: Rudeboyben84 (Very much a Unanimous result)

Most knowledgable poster: Rudeboyben84 (Just edged it from Anfield)

Most Biased Poster: Rudeboyben84 (Just edged it from Anfield)

Most Successful Shit Stirrer: Anfield5thking (Kaldog deserves a mention also)

Best Newcomer: TomHughes (Edged it from KJ Gould)

Most likely to post an unusual thread/comment/pic: Manchesthair/Payne (A tie)

Thread of the Year: Calender thread (Predictions league deserves a mention)

Post of the Year: Payne- Fujita skull

Ranter of the Year: Anfield (Unanimous is an understatement, Ben got 1 vote)

Funniest Poster: Paulo (Moose and Chesty deserve a mention)

Worst single fight prediction of the year: Rudeboyben84 - Without a doubt mate, Couture says he is going to learn subs off his back to cope with Coleman so It looks like Even Randy thinks he will get outwrestled. I dont think his Boxing is that much Better than Colemans, Coleman was beating Shogun to the punch in Dublin.

If I was betting on UFC 109, A bet on Coleman is one id take, Id also stick a few quid on Nate MArquardt, you probabally wont get great odds but Id bet my left nut Sonnen isnt going to be able to Dryhump him

Funniest/Jamiest Moment: Paddy, Burrso and King Fedor with the ring girls

Okay i'll take the posters awards, what, in your opinion, is the best way of going about it? Having everyone PM me their choices then adding them up that way?

Thats what i did but i think it would work if people did their votes on a thread.


You might want to change some of the categories as quite a few struggled to come up with anything for a few of those categories.

What categories need changing? Im guessing rant of the year and other awards like that that mean we have to trawl through every page of the last year to find our fave

I will accept my shit stirrer and ranter of the year awards now and save you the hassle. I think I should probably edge Ben for most biased poster of the year this year.
