After a couple of more wins for Amir, Freddie Roach wants him to move up in weight and challenge PBF. How do you all think he would fare against one of the P4P best?

Re: Amir Khan vs Floyd Mayweather Jr
Mayweather is one of the two best fighters on the planet. Amir isn't even one of the two best in his division.
Mayweather would beat him very easily and probably stop him in about the 8th-10th round.

Khan got blasted a few times last night, though he did drop his opponent with a body shot. I only saw the highlights on sky sports news.
But im going to try and watch it, looks like it could have been contorversial decision.

Re: Amir Khan vs Floyd Mayweather Jr
nothing controversial about the decision,Amir had a big lead going into the last 3 rds.
I did think he was done in the 10th rd though, credit to him,he managed to somehow hang on in there and survive a really tough last 3 rds, really enjoyed the fight.
I think to many people are getting down on Mayweather because of all the Pacman shit and are forgetting just how great a fighter Ffloyd is.
Mayweather is in a totally differant class to Amir. I don't think Amir would be able to survive 12 rds with a guy of Mayweathers class.

Re: Amir Khan vs Floyd Mayweather Jr
I agree with everything Payne has said.
Clear victory for Khan yesterday, Maidana landed some big shots but Khan won that fight easily.
And I would give Khan no chance against Money. He's personality makes him a hard guy to like, but for me he is the best P4P fighter in the world and I couldn't see Khan surviving 12 rounds. Khan still has a long time to go before he ever reaches that level and I don't think he ever will.

Re: Amir Khan vs Floyd Mayweather Jr
PBF is way too good/clever/strong for Khan. The only fighter I'd have with a good chance of beating him is Pacquiao. He is light years ahead of Khan, despite all of noises coming out of Roaches camp.

Khan won the fight but he didn't win it easily and came extremely close to getting knocked out on more than one occasion.
Agree with the rest except that Manny is my P4P no 1 in boxing over Floyd.

Re: Amir Khan vs Floyd Mayweather Jr
PBF's inactivity and age are Khans only real chance in any fight between them.
Having said that a Roach trained De la hoya did weell in the early rounds against PBF.

No I meant that the decision was easily his. I didn't mean it was an easy fight for him, I think it was a very tough fight for him and there has been talk of a rematch.
I have to give the edge to Money, because I think he's the better fighter. It's very close though and either of them are fine at the top.

mayweather clowns khan imo i think he counter punchs him all night and knocks him out in the late rounds with a counter punch like he did against hatton khans defence is still pretty bad and roach isnt the best trainer for teaching defence i cant of any fighter he has trained with great defence even pacqauio is very hittable
