The Armbar Cup - Round 3 Update

Best prediction so far goes to ppozma who was the only one to pick Edgar to retain his title The Armbar upset was Soto beating Nick O - no-one saw that coming. I can't believe that so few people had Diaz - Davis down as fight of the night though!!!

The rest of the round is a little fragmented so keep up to date - I would recommend picking everything now and editing your picks if anything changes. At least that way you still could score something if you forget about it.

Here are the scores - the leaders are in bold and those with an asterisk next to their scores have either yet to put down a trump or it is yet to come into play.

After this round we will have the top 3 in the Cup and the top 4 in the Saucer competitions. All losers from this rounds matches will move to the Teaspoon competition.

I don't know how the final 3 will want to play it - an elimination final followed by a grand final like last time, round robin finals, a one off 3 way match up or whatever. I will leave it up to the finalists to decide. The Saucer will have a straight semi final and final. The Teaspoon will probably end up a battle royal with two groups of 3 and 4 with the top 2 in each group going through to a big final.


Would anyone be interested in another competition which can be held alongside the League. How about a Belt? Each week the beltholder faces one or two challengers and the highest score in the round wins the belt. No instant rematches unless you are within say 10 points. See who can go on the longest streak....

Or how about a tag team competition??? Pair up with another player to become the tag team champions. I am happy to run stuff like this if it makes it interesting!!!

Hey i'd be up for something like that, it's good to have a little aside from the league, and a good way to keep interest up! Good ideas! Both could be fun!

Regaurding these Avatar bets,do you think we should do this seperately and leave it for people to make there own challenges,or should it be introduced as something you do against the person you are drawn against?

You guys set the match ups for the avatar and sig bets and I'll score them. Just let me know who is against who so I can post the individual round scores for those involved. It doesn't even have to be total scores - you could base it on the number of winners picked, scores for a certain event etc...

Perhaps the first belt holder can be the person who wins the Cup. They can accept accept a challenger or two and I'll take it from there. Does anyone want to be Joe Silva and set the matches? Happy to do what you guys want with it to keep it interesting

Wonder what happened to Hendo, he never picked in this round. Not that i'm complaining. Had a shocker for the last UFC.
