http://www.mmafighting.com/2010/07/18/robert-drysdale-victorious-in-mma-debut/Robert Drysdale's long-awaited MMA debut finally took place Saturday night at Armageddon Fighting Championship 3 in Victoria, British Columbia, and the Brazilian jiu-jitsu wizard gave everyone exactly what they came to see: a first-round submission win.
Drysdale, who entered the bout with a 1-0 amateur record, submitted Bas Huveneers via arm triangle at 1:12 in round 1.
The 2007 Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championship's open division winner told MMA Fighting last week that he has a four-fight deal with AFC. He expects to fight for the Canadian-based organization one more time this year before finishing his contract in the first half of 2011. He then hopes to sign a deal with either Strikeforce or the UFC.
Below are the full results from AFC 3: Evolution, including former UFC fighter Kalib Starnes middleweight title win, courtesy of TopMMANews.com.

I read somewhere that he wants to fight in Strikeforce against Roger Gracie.

Out of the fighters who fight reguarly probably one of the best, but Roger Gracie is better, he has beaten Drysdale 3 or 4 times in BJJ comption. Xande Riberio also has better BJJ than Drysdale but he hasn't competed in MMA in over a year and has only had two fights so i'm not too sure if he counts as a regular MMA fighter.

Gracie was 240 when he grappled against the 190 Drysdale.
Xande Ribiero and Jacare are both better than Drysdale and Roger IMO.

Ye I agree, Jacare, Garcia and Xande are the three best grapplers in the world.
I didn't know Gracie cut so much though for MMA fights.

Gracie was a pudgy 240, he was carrying a good bit of fat (which I always thought helped me grapple)
Im not expert on BJJ but why Jacare one of the best 3 and Maia not? Maia beat him head to head at leasy one as far as I know... Could be wrong.

Jacare is of a higher level as an allround grappler than Maia. Better standing grappling, more power, more variety in his subs. Maia is a choke-artist in his subs. Jacare is an all-rounder.
