I would do:

Faber vs Barao for Interim.

Mcdonald vs Menjivar for number one contender.

McDonald or Barao for me, Dont care which. Ive always loved McDonald though but with Barao's unbeaten Streak and being a few years older than McDonald I think it makes sence to give it to him. Im sorta glad this is happening I didnt want to see Faber fight for the title again and I think one of these guys could knock Faber off the number 1 contender spot.

Just wondering if anybody was planning on going to The MMA Show Live in Birmingham this weekend? It's been cancelled with 5 days notice and although I wasn't going, some of my mates were and they're not more than £100 out of pocket due to travel and accomodation. Plus it isn't certain that their tickets will be refunded yet because the organiser hasn't even informed the ticket supplies that the event is cancelled yet, he didn't even inform the international fighters! Most of them have found out today on Twitter. It all seems a bit suspicious to me as the guy who organised it recently posted on Twitter that he has a new car and has since deleted his Twitter account and nobody can get in touch with him. Seems like a scam to me!

It does Sheldan sort of reminds me of that event in Los Angeles (well a more intelligent version) where Don Frye and one of Leland Chapman's bodygaurd Sonny where Promoter Chris Salsbury fled the scene with money in tow although they actually had an event I suppose.

Feel gutted for those who were going for no apparent reason I felt something seemed fishy since I heard this was announced something didn't sit right with me with IT.

Braulio never missed weight, there was a rumour about him being 9 lbs overweight that Braulio himself knew nothing about.
He made the 180 lb limit in the morning of the contest which is the norm in BJJ, and Diaz didnt even turn up to the contest.
...in which all the proceeds were to go to charity.
I hope Diaz has a good explanation.

Mark Hunt out - Lavar Johnson fights Stefan Struve at UFC 146.

This card was just destined to be destroyed by injuries/failed drug tests from day 1. Wouldnt be surprised if there was more.

This now means that every single main card fight at UFC 146 has been altered since first originally announced.

Wow, thats crazy! Hearing that, I actually have to say fair play to the UFC for keeping this card together. It's quite solid for the amount of people pulling out. Especially impressive that they didnt have to drop to the prelims to replace a main card fight. (I wouldnt dispute of the prelims being on the main card by the way).

I would of preferred to hear that Struve was injured and Lavar was to face Hunt.

Struve is getting KO'ed. The winner of Struve/Hunt was set to get Carwin so it's crazy to think that Lavar could now be facing Carwin in the fall which is another winnable fight, and then could will have completed the path from around top 50 heavyweight to a top 10 heavyweight all within a year!
