What a terrible fight, Mayhem grappled with Shields for 25mins and went distance with Kennedy and Jacare but cant do 6 mins with Bisping without turning bright red and looking like he was going to pass out???

1st round alone showed me why i was right to pick Mayhem to win, but him gassing like that was totally unprecedentent, i never seen him like that before. Must have been nerves/rust or an injury during training.

Dana is trying to build up Bisping and say that was most 1 sided fight ever is a joke. Mayhem gassed like many others before him in UFC. Bisping is the one who looked bad, he couldnt do anything to Mayhem, has to be one of p4p weakest punchers in UFC.

I wasn't at all impressed with Bisping last night. Mayhem let him hit him clean in the face four or five times and they had no effect.

Dana tried to claim Bisping won the first round, he's a fucking idiot. Miller owned the first round.

Put them back in together in a year after Mayhem has a couple of wins under his belt in the UFC and we'll see a different result. No doubt.

Bisping should be fed to Stann next. Its clear Bisping is being lined up for a title shot after Sonnen/Munoz. Lets see him against Belfort/Palhres or Stann next.

He should atleast face 1 top 10 fighter if he wants a shot.

Hilarious. Mayhem was awful, if it had happened the other way round you'd have all caned Bisping, it didn't and you still cane him.

After listening to Dana's post fight interview, my guess is that Bisping will fight Wanderlei or Maia on the Fox card.

I really hope not. If they are serious about pushing Bitchping towards a title shot, then he needs to make a step up in competition. Wanderlei has the power to put him to sleep, but is well past his best. Maia, would be infinitely preferable, although as I said earlier, Stann would be my first choice, they could certainly push the USA/GB thing as Bitchping is without doubt the least liked fighter in MMA, and in a sport that includes Chael Sonnen, that's some achievement.

Shit I forgot about Stann, Bisping VS Stann/Wanderlei/Maia on Fox.

I think Bisping looked OK and does what Bisping does, but Mayhem gassed so badmy. Saying Bisping won the first round is silly though.

If they give Bisping Maia, he could maybe get by with his jab and run. Could Maia get a hold of him and take him town from the clinch?
He needs to face someone who could realistically KO him, or who can take him down. I'd like it to be Stann.

Also, why did Mayhem gas so bad?? Injury or what??

I thought Bisping did a good job last night and I don't care what shape mayhem was in or should of been in,Bisping would beat him 9 times out of 10.

Bisping is a top 10 MW,Mayhem obviously isn't,and it's just another case of a guy earning a good reputation fighting outside the UFC,eventually coming to the UFC and getting found out, plain and simple.

I'm no big fan of Bisping,he's an obnoxious arse hole, but credit where credit is due,he's a good fighter and there's only a handfull of fighters in the MW division that I'd confidently back to beat him.

I'd like to see Stann v Bisping next,I think that would make for a great fight.

I think last night has to go down as the overall best TUF Finale we have had though, thoroughly enjoyed the whole card.

The long layoff might have had something to do with it.

In the few instances I can think of recently where fighters came back after year+ inactivity, their conditioning seemed to suffer.

Hendo v Shields, Shogun v Bones, Rampage v Rashad. I'm sure Rothwells cardio wasn't so atrocious in the past before he fought Hunt. Cain also, was flabby and lethargic against JDS.

Griffin, Rashad and Sonnen would be examples to counter this however.

I do hope that Mayhem stays around though,he just needs to start out fighting against a more appropriate standard of fighter, like a Dan miller,Ed Herman,Dollaway etc

Mayhem before gassing - winning the fight easily.

Bisping before Mayhem gassed - completely outclassed on the ground and getting caught in the stand-up.

    Mayhem after gassing punchbag

Bisping after Mayhem gassed - unable to hurt him in any way shape or form.

The Cunt said he won't fight anyone that he's already fought, rule out Wandi.

Bisping to get Maia most likely. Jab and jog special. At least Maia is a top ten fighter though. And in fairness, Maia's stand-up has greatly improved over the years. They won't risk Bisping against anyone with power in their hands.

I think Mayhem vs Dan Miller would be a good fight for both next, but Wandi vs Mayhem would of been a good fight for the Japanese fans to add to the UFC 144 Japan card.

Wont Bisping most likely fight Belfort if he beats Rumble? that would be a Stann like test of his Standup skills.

Im disapointed Sonnen is fighting Munoz. I reckon giving Sonnen a shot and Munoz vs Bisping makes most sence.

For me the win puts Bisping as a solid top 10 in the world and despite Miller having only 5mins of fight in him Bisping impressed me a bit showing he certainly has better TDD than I credited him for. Although once again those feather fists were on Display. If Miller dropped his hands and acted like Hunt vs Sefo against a lot of other Mw's that gassed he would have got his lights turned out.

Mw is a very thin devision but Wand being considered on the verge of retirement and holding a win over this "top contender" shouldnt be overlooked, Bisping should be itching to try to avenge this loss.

Fucking amazing card though, best TUF finale Ive seen in ages.

Silva is injured and Sonnen doesn't want to wait around, according to Dana.

I wonder if Hendo would want another fight to keep him busy till he gets his shot... Id love to see him rematch Bisping! Twisted Evil

Mw devision seems a bit of a mess, I look forward to the SF boys coming over to breath a bit of life into the devision.
