Make it happen UFC, Werdum vs Schaub makes sence. To the UFC fans that only saw Werdum in a snoozefest against AA and getting Sparked against JDS I reckon it makes sence. For most of us its a big step down in competition but matchmaking wise it makes a lot of sence.

Werdum is coming off a bad loss where he looked heartless, he needs to be built back up and beating Schaub could line him up for a fight with Nog/Mir winner.

Schaub is still a promising enough fighter, Id be interested to see him aganst Meathead for example. Werdum has lost of guys who are good with their fists in the past and as Schaub said is top 5 ranked right now, its the prefect fight to try and put himself back on the map.

Werdum 2nd round Sub if it goes down.

I think it will be a standup fight and one of them will get rocked early and that will be the end of the fight. I dont see either guy going for takedowns, but you never know.

So who does Cormier fight in his 'plus one' remaining SF fight?

Fedor is the best calibre opponent not in the UFC, but he'll probably retire.

Lets just hope Zuffa rides roughshod over the strikeforce brass and gets him to the UFC ASAP.

Cormier has hinted about going to 205lbs to avoid Cain, i think DC is only realistic shot who can beat Bones at LHW.

He may need to diet down first before he attempts a big cut again, but i think he could do it.

Daniel Cormier won this fight in every arena. He has vastly improved every fight and is now a threat to every heavyweight out there.

A dominate performance I said last night they have to give him JDS......I mean the winner of JDS & Mir ASAP.

I'm not sure 205 is the best move I don't like the idea of Cormier cutting weight with his past Liver issues I'm sure he said that was the reason he won't drop to 205 unless he is talking about literally weighing 205.

Yeah I do aside from Cain and Werdum It's pretty baron for JDS......I mean the winner of JDS & Mir that's what I mean. I'd like to see get Cain another win and the roll Cormier is on why not he hat dominated 2 Top 10 guys in row after all.

That's If it can be done that is, I did read the winner of the GP has one more fight left with Showtime so It probably won't happen.

Agree with Cowboy, don't see why Cormier doesn't deserve a shot. JDS vs Cormier is the biggest HW fight they can make at the moment and that would be a huge fight. Whoever wins I think is destined to top the division for a long time.

Cormier deserves a shot as much as Mir does.

Cormier deserves a shot more than Overeem, he took Overroid's place in the tourney and won. Reem rejected the fight with Bigfoot, went to UFC, ran away from a drug test, was given a license anyway and kicked post-op in body and won.



And ofcourse since then we all know that Overeem failed test and been suspended.

Overeem should be Cormiers last SF fight, UFC should make Overeem do 1 last SF fight to against Cormier for the number 1 contender. SF GP Champ vs SF Hw Champ, winner gets a shot at the UFC title.

Only fight I want to see Cormier in other than against White Fedor

People said Overeem wouldnt do well against a Wrestler and Brock didnt hang in there enough to find out. Id love to see it.
