i am obviously going to miss several of my favourites off because i havent sorted them in my head yet, but:

Takanori Gomi vs Tatsuya Kawajiri (PRIDE Bushido 9)
Fedor Emelianenko vs Mirko Crocop (PRIDE Final Conflict 2005)
Bob Sapp vs Minotauro Nogueira (PRIDE Shockwave/K1 Dynamite!! 2002)
Eddie Alvarez vs Tatsuya Kawajiri (DREAM.5)
Kazushi Sakuraba vs Renzo Gracie (PRIDE 10)

gotta love Crusher, vs Alvarez, vs Gomi and vs Masato he goes down swinging!!

Lnp was a bit of an exaggeration, but Fedor never landed anything 'immense'. He mounted him a lot, went for an armbar once or twice and landed a lot of pitter patter shots. His worst post-RINGS fight imo.

just been looking at the semmy v fedor and it amazes me that fedor fights much bigger opposition and wins. sylvia, zuluzinho, choi, semmy, rogers. i can see why he is in most peoples top five.

He beat the shit out of him! Was the first showing of Fedor's GnP. He was fighting in Pride for the first time, against an elite level striker who was a foot taller and about 60lbs heavier! Great performance.

Gilbert Melendez vs Josh Thompson II (Strikeforce: Evolution)
Ricardo Arona vs Kaushi Sakuraba (PRIDE Critical Countdown 2005)

    In no particular order -

Josh Barnett vs Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
    PRIDE Final Conflict 2006

Matt Hughes vs Frank Trigg II
    UFC 52

    Royce Gracie vs Dan Severn
    UFC 4

Matt Hughes vs BJ Penn II
    UFC 63

    Fedor vs Kevin Randlemann
    PRIDE critical countdown 2004

    There are so many others.

Significance over quality, in this respect anyway. As I've said though, there are so many fights that could have been put on here, it was really hard to come up with just 5.

Rampage vs Griffin - sat there for 25mins waiting for rampage to take griffins head off! So pleased I was wrong

Lesnar vs Mir 2 - can't stand Mir and I'm in the minority that cheers for Lesnar

Chuck vs silva - say no more

Sanchez vs Guida - Best 1st round I've seen in the ufc for a long time!

Hughes vs Carlos Newton 1 - got me into mma

Special mention to couture vs toney and alex Reid vs Watson. Both were epic fights and defined the world of mma

Same here but it was always gona happen.

I'm a big boxing fan and got no problem with top boxers having a go at mma but Toney talked so much when it was painfully obvious he wasn't gona be able to back it up! I no he was trying to sell the fight but he just came across as having no respect for randy and what mma fighters can do!

to be fair to Toney, he dicks on everyone before he fights them - MMA or boxing

but yeah I was so happy when I saw Randy get the takedown about 10seconds in Very Happy

I won't lie my heart was going about 100 beats per second until the takedown. Glad it was randy that fought toney although I'd have liked to have seen what johny jones could have done to him

it would have been great to see someone stand and trade with him for a while but a boxer wearing 4oz gloves would be devastating to any mixed martial artist.
