That is one of MMA's funniest moments, I love the look on Kiss' face when he looks up a Herring after he gets KO'd... you can just see him thinking "what the fuck just happened!" Have to post the full video...
Herring says something like, he kissed me an im not a homosexual!

Was actually thinking of submitting a proposal to SH!NE to suggest running an iron man tournament. With only fighters who have 100+ pro fights being invited. I have Severn, Horn, Fulton but couldn't think of anyone else to even round out a 4 man tournament. So then i was thinking 70 fights and over to get in so Minowa could be added. And Travis Wiuff.
Anyone else with more than 70 pro fights?

That Kos vs Thiago pic is hilarious!
I beleive what Herring said was "He was trying to kiss me like a homosexual, im not gay"
In a really texan accent
Anfield thats a a nice idea. Some one who is a little undersize but has fought in bigger weight classes before...
Shoni "F'N" Carter

Mr International!!
Forgot about him! I think he's fought at MW during his career so he'd do.
If we lowered it to 60 fights, Vernon White and Igor Vovchanchyn(if he could be tempted from retirement) would both be eligible.

Yuki Kondo has 78 fights. He's in.
Dave Menne has 61 fights. So he could go in.
Keiichiro Yamamiya has 67 fights.
Kiuma Kunioku has 65 fights
Severn, Horn, Fulton, Wiuff, Minowa, Kondo, Carter, Menne, White, Yamamiya, Kunioku
Ok that's 11 plus Igor. So we still need 4 more, or 5 if Igor can't fight.

Not sure if its been posted before but there you go.
Anfield
Ive never heard of him either, but 174 is incredible. Wow.
How far away is Edwin "Bam Bam Baby face" Dewees away from 60 fights?
What about Drew Fickett as well he can't be far off now.
Joe Doerkenson is another one who has had loads of fights, not sure how high he has got now, im sure there a few more out there.
Also Rickson Gracie has 400 fights so he must go in!

Joe D has 55, Edwin has 55 and Fickett has 49. I don't wanna drop the entry requirements anymore.
The lads at Sh!ne seem really sound. I've been emailing them about a few different things since over the last few months. Might be going to one of their events this year. Also been in contact with Vyper Fight League. Interesting bunch of people.

Whats the craic here mate? Been talking to Shine fights? The Ninja Rua is signed to? I wonder if they would try and crack the UK market. Weres the event? You do some Jetsetting Anfield!! didnt you used to report on K-1 events or was that someone else from 606?

What you could do is wait till they reach 60, forget Fickett he is too far away. Denis Hallman is on 55 as well. Clementi has 52 but is a LW.
Who else is there with 60 plus fights? Im determined to find some now.

Used to do some freelance photography at K1 events. I used to run an importing business(i still own it but i don't run it day to day anymore). Importing furniture and cars from Japan to the UK and Ireland, so it allowed me to be in Japan fairly regularly and through people i met through Judo i got a press pass that used to get me access to most of the major sporting events.
I emailed the people at Sh!ne just enquiring about when and where the next show would be etc. Just out of interest. and they were really cool and have been keeping me updated with what they've been doing. Plus i know one or two of their fighters from being around ATT and i mentioned that. Basically the idea with this veterans tournament is that they are looking to do something that will appeal to the hardcore and old school fans and i thought this might be pretty cool because they obviously don't half huge amounts of cash so it would be best to get fighters that people know but that won't cost stupid money.
The Vyper Fight League are run by two pro wrestlers, Dangerous Danny Davis and John Bradshaw Layfield. It's pretty much an amateur fight league. Like a development territory. I heard that they might be setting up a training facility so i emailed them to find out and enquire about a the possibility of becoming a trainer there.

Fucking right mate good going, Thats really cool about the K-1 what a Job!! If the Photos are Digital and you can upload them Id love to see them...
Shine are doing well arent they? A few good fighters signed recently, Who all did they sign? Id love to see a Legends tournament, Dan Severn sold out the Kings hall in Belfast, the Old boys are still big draws for smaller events. Maby Don Frye could be talked out of retirement! Post any interesting email or forward them to me theres any cool news, Rudeboyben84@hotmail.com
Vyper Fight League sounds a good thing, good luck on becoming a trainer there! Weres it based out of? America I assume by Bradshaw owning it!

wow anfield you sound like a really interesting guy, what a job k1 photographer!!!!
good going giving ideas to shine.
if you are being strict about the minimum fights then i am stumped for any more fighters (for now ).
i was watching m1 challenge the other night on bravo, and they mentioned Lloyd Marshbanks was looking for his 50th career win, but now that i look him up , he has a record of 19-11. hmmmm
otherwise ricco rodriguez would be perfect. done tonnes of smaller shows recently and would add a world class (on his day) fighter to the comp.
Ricco would be a good addition for shine tournament or no tournament.
i dont think a 16 man tourney with all 60+ fight vets is realistic though, for starters Dennis Hallman vs the likes of Dan Severn is a complete size mismatch!
also saw this on sh**dog a few days ago, you might want to check it out, the Shine matchmaker answering al the fans questions.

I didn't know anything about the Vyper League outside the fact that JBL owned them.
Good to see the smaller MMA companies picking up good fighters. Shine have picked up some really good fighters, Ninja vs Vitale for the MW title is a good match. I also think the MFC are putting on some good fights with some good MWs there like Lutter, Macdonald, Leites, Lutter ect. I think its good for MMA that there are so many up and coming promotions.
I agree we need Chesty here to help us with this.
Also good luck on becoming a trainer there, think you could be an amazing trainer with your experience.

i did it!!!!!!!
this guy should be called "mr. panrase"
with that said, does anyone really know who he is?
for that reason i say leave him out of the tournament + he would probably not fight outside of japan, 66 of his 67 fights were in japan.
edit: his name! is Keiichiro Yamamiya
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keiichiro_Yamamiya
wins over the wwf wrestler TAKA michinoku, Brian Gassaway, Minoru Suzuki, Jason Delucia, Chris Lytle, Minowaman, Dennis Kang, NATE MARQAUDT, CHAEL SONNEN, Yuki Kondo and Kanehara
