Alex Reid pulls out of Watson fight
According to Fighters Only Alex Reid has pulled out of his BAMMA fight with Tom "Kong" Watson due to a mysterious knee injury.

I would suggest Watson takes the Fedor fight, but that might be too much of a step down.

This man is a serious embarresment, so full of shit! The sooner he 'retires' from the sport the better.
At least then we might move away from the cagefighting mentality that most people seem to have, and the media could interview legitimate fighters.

Sorry but who really gives a shit about this guy? I wouldn't even know him if he didn't appear on TUF 9, why exactly is he a big deal? I don't see people making a deal out of Andy Wang's or Ross Pointon's latest fight, why this guy?
Is it because he was banging Jordan?

Re: Alex Reid pulls out of Watson fight
Unfortunately that's enough to garner interest these days. I knew quite a few folk, who had no prior interest in MMA, who were wanting to see him fight. Dana White's UK marketing strategy was seriously flawed, he should have just set Bisping up with Jordan. Imagine the money he could have saved!ChelseaQuinsfan wrote:Why this guy? haha, being serious though spot the pattern: 2nd rate footballer X 2, 2nd rate singers X3, 2nd rate MM artist. If Pete Dohety ever downgraded from a 1st rate tosspot im sure they would make a lovely couple.

caus he is all over the tabloids.
and he was on channel 4 every night for 3 weeks and got a massive amount of public votes so there is definatley money to be made off him.

He's probably the first MMA star to be interviewed by the BBC...

I haven't been in the UK for a while now, around a year so forgive me for not knowing about all this. Intresting the BBC care about him, I think they still call it cage fighting.

Actually, Steve Bunce interviewed Bisping and Rampage as part of a brief look at MMA during an episode of Inside Sport.

Re: Alex Reid pulls out of Watson fight
I happened to watch some of his programme on Bravo last night where he was learning Indian wrestling techniques. The whole programme is flawed by thinking that he can transfer these 'skills' he is learning to an MMA fight.
Oh and plus he is a complete wanker!!
