I don't get Maia, I rate him as the best ground fighter in MMA at the moment, but he's publicly said he sees no need in improving his stand up.

i think maia's stand up has looked alot better recently especially against miller

Since Nate KO, Maia has been working extensively on his stand up and looked so much better at 109.
