UFC 110 - Weigh-in results !

Official fighter weigh-ins for this weekend's "UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez" took place today at Acer Arena in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, which also hosts Saturday's pay-per-view event.

All 18 fighters made weight (whether you prefer kilograms or pounds) for the event on their first trip to scale.

While main-event competitors Antonio Rodrgio Nogueira and Cain Velasquez brought cheers from the crowd, the most intense moments of the day came during the staredown between middleweights Wanderlei Silva and Michael Bisping.

Silva weighed-in with both a T-shirt and hat on (and still made weight in his first crack at 185 pounds), but shed both before charging across the stage to rush into "The Count's" face. UFC president Dana White jumped immediately in between before any real contact could be made, but the tension was palpable.

UFC 110 marks the UFC's debut in Australia, and the event features a pivotal heavyweight headliner Nogueira and Velasquez. According to White, the winner could earn a title shot.

Additionally, Australians George Sotiropoulos and Anthony Persoh look to earn wins while fighting in front of their home country.

Well it looks like Wandi had no problem making weight, Nog looks like he has slimmed down with his new training exercise, that is as low as i remember him ever weighing, that could prove to be a mistake against Cain. Crocop is bigger than before, he was 220 last time around now he is the same size as Nog.

Nog was actually 231 for the Couture fight, he was a big heavier before when he was out of shape or sick... There hasnt been much of a change in Nog since we last saw him.

Glad Wanderlei didnt have any issues making the weight, I think he is going to be ok, all the talk of problems cutting seemed a little premature of he made weight the 1st time round.

Interestingly 17 pros picked Nog to win, Only 7 Picked Cain...

Wandi wanted to prove a point, he stepped up on the scales wearing a shirt and hat. I think Bisping flipped him off after Bisping stepped off from the scales. I thought Nog was 240 at UFC 102.

Ive got a good feeling that brown pride is going to get the job done tonight and announce himself as a top young contender at HW to the world.

Just watched the video, Bisping has clearly had a tough cut. Note the look of relief on his face when he made the weight and also the fact that he immediately started drinking after getting of the scales.

Typical dickhead actions from the Cunt, giving the finger to the crowd, mouthing off and acting like he's some sort of bad boy. Then clearly shitting himself when Wandi got in his face and attempting to pull his meanest face whilst faking headbutts. What a prick.

Bisping's getting hurt tonight.

There was no noticable sign of a cut on Mirko's face, he looked good, and bigger than before. Nog did not look 2 inches taller than Cain.

Did anyone else notice that Perosh was actually bigger than Cro Cop? Won't make a difference but I thought that was intesting.

I didn't see a cut either.

All I can say about Wandy vs Bisping is that I hope it finishes quickly, otherwise we are in for a truley awful fight.
