    Don Frye vs Bas Rutten
    Mark Coleman vs Bas Rutten
    Mark Coleman vs Ken Shamrock
    Dan Severn vs Don Frye
    Dan Severn vs Bas Rutten
    Randy Couture vs Bas Rutten
    Randy Couture vs Ken Shamrock
    Randy Couture vs Don Frye

All These fighters are simialr age (Bar Severn!) but they have all been activley competing, sometimes in the UFC at the same time.

Its a real shame that these Legends Careers are winding down or have finished and they never got to fight other great fighers of their generation....

How do people think the Following fights would have played out if they had all fought around say 1996/1997

I was just thinking about an hour ago about how much i would have wanted Shamrock/Coleman!!

    anyway...

Don Frye vs Bas Rutten - Bas

Mark Coleman vs Bas Rutten - would go the same way as Bas/Randleman i.e. decision that could go either way

Mark Coleman vs Ken Shamrock - as much as i like Ken, he relied on his ability to outwrestle his opponents. Coleman by TKO

Dan Severn vs Don Frye - probably Severn Decision

Dan Severn vs Bas Rutten - dont know about this, too hard to call.

Randy Couture vs Bas Rutten - Bas by TKO

Randy Couture vs Ken Shamrock - Randy by TKO

Randy Couture vs Don Frye - Randy by Decision

    Randy Couture vs Crocop

I bet the Crocop fans are relieved about missing this one Wink

The one time Gonzaga doesnt choke, and brings his A-game on the main stage Mad

i would have loved to see that one!

Crocop vs Grappler are some of my favourite fights (highlights reels) Laughing

as long as its in a ring crocop takes it 11/10 times.

    even today.

I think Crocop vs Couture would be great to see, It was supposed to happen but I think its one we will never see now. ID have also loved to see Mirko vs Chuck, The Wanderlei vs Crocop 1st fight was one of my favorite fights and Chuck and Mirko have both been labled shot, though at one time were both feared KO artists... I dont think its too late for this fight.

Its a real shame all those fights from my list never happened, With that Generations careers coming to an end I hope the same doesnt happen again with this Generation, I hope we get to see all the Big Names matched up.

It could still happen, if Crocop wins at 110. Randy still has about 4 fights left in his contract. And it would make a perfect retirement fight for Randy or Crocop also. What do you think?

If that was Randy instead of Gonzaga there (which probably should have happened), then what GG was doing to Crocop before the KO, would pale in significance to what Randy would have done for 25 mins that night. Razz

Ye its a shame these never happened.

    Don Frye vs Bas Rutten-Bas

Mark Coleman vs Bas Rutten- Bas

Mark Coleman vs Ken Shamrock-Coleman by Hammertime GnP

Dan Severn vs Don Frye- Severn

Dan Severn vs Bas Rutten- Bas

Randy Couture vs Bas Rutten-Randy UD

Randy Couture vs Ken Shamrock-Randy TKO

Randy Couture vs Don Frye-Randy TKO

As for Randy vs Cro Cop, that would be a good fight. In a ring and pride rules Cro Cop would win I think, in the octagon Randy would win though. In the octagon Randy can push Cro Cop against the cage and take him down from there.

after watching the vera fight in November.

and watching the Lesnar and Gonzaga fights on unleashed recently for the first time since watching them live...

i have come to the conclusion that Randy's biggest weapon is the fence. his push and hold tactic would work so well in a ring.

Personally, the one fight that I always wanted to see, was Arlovski vs CroCop. Not a huge amount of point now, what with Arlovskis glass jaw and all.

"Wall n Stall" Laughing haha Legendary stuff Red!

I think Don would have beat Randy and Severn around 96... Randy wasnt the fighter he was today back then, I think Ken vs Randy would have been very close but Id back Randy despite the fact the was easier to Sub back then. If we were talking todays Randy I think he beats Everyone, Maby except Bas but I dont think 96/97 Randy beats Frye...

Don Frye vs Bas Rutten - Bas
Mark Coleman vs Bas Rutten - Bas
Mark Coleman vs Ken Shamrock - Coleman
Dan Severn vs Don Frye - Frye
Dan Severn vs Bas Rutten - Bas
Randy Couture vs Bas Rutten - Bas
Randy Couture vs Ken Shamrock - Randy
Randy Couture vs Don Frye - Frye

Anyone know how much it costs to trademark a phrase?

If Red trademarked "wall and stall" and then got the guy who programmes Goldie to add that to his limited vocabulary, he'd make a fortune. Especially if they put it in the slot usually reserved for "classy".

You mean there is a guy that gets paid for telling Goldie what to say????

Has he been on vacation for the last 7 years or what?
