TUF 15 Live Empty TUF 15 Live

    Post  Anfields5thKing Sun Mar 11, 2012 5:32 pm

Did anyone watch it? Some really impressive looking prospects on it. Some excellent KOs and subs.

    Ones to watch include;

Justin Lawrence, trains at black house. Good stand up, apparently he's decent on the ground.

Cristiano Marcello, 4TH degree BJJ black belt, former BJJ trainer at Chute Boxe. Ridiculously good on the ground.

Daron Cruickshank, solid wrestler, impressive stand up.

Mike Rio, well rounded fighter with a good chin.

    There are others as well.

This actually could be a good season of the show. Obviously team alpha midget and their captain will be a bit annoying but the fighters should make for a good season. I hope they bring in commentary for the fights though. Watching live fights with no commentary but with background noise is a bit odd.

Ben, do you know that twat from Belfast "i'm harder than anyone here, i don't have friends because I don't need them". What a bellend. Then he got tapped.

Is this the Cristiano who tapped Krazy Horse in locker room?? Also which guy had the karate stance and threw those wild kicks??

Yeah, was quite impressed with a few of them TBH, was surprised at the 1 round format of the first show, although, I have noticed how badly some of the previous contestants have gassed. Also a bit surprised at how quickly the ref stepped in on a couple of occasions. Think the Sicilia fight was halted way too early.

Was impressed by - Pichel and Chiesa, Rio looked decent too. Gutted for that Glover lad, you could see how frustrated he was.

That busted toe was quite amusing as well (although not for Tuck).

My pick is Chiesa, although I can see Andy Ogle coming on shit loads for the experience, and doing really well.

I did enjoy TUF I have to say I loved the 1 Round format to get in to the house that was a great idea there seemed more urgency in most of the fights to end the fight also have to add silence>Rogan & Goldie.

I wasn't that impressed with it, I know it was only episode 1 and all we saw was quick fights but I didn't really see the benefit of having it live. The amount of adverts threw me off as well, I don't know whether you guys watched it afterwards and fast forwarded through the adverts so that's why maybe you enjoyed it, but after about an hour I was just bored by the amount of adverts and it was disrupting the smoothness of the show for me. I think TUF needs another season like season 4 where they get current UFC contenders and the winner gets a title shot.

That's the way American TV is Sheldan I agree with you that It can be annoying but personally I'm use to It now so It doesn't bother me much. For me TUF has gotten very stale over the years I actually like the live idea.

havent seen TUF, but the guy who choked out Krazy Horse in the locker room was the BJJ trainer at Chuteboxe and his name was Cristiano Marcello.
so its a pretty safe bet.

I downloaded it afterwards. I hate American TV and their love of ad breaks so I never watch anything first time round, download and watch the next day.

That's him. He schooled and Eddie Bravo black belt, made him look like a blue belt. Was impressive to see. He got his black belt off Rickson which says it all.

Cruickshank was the guy with the karate stance.

I thought both of those quick KO stoppages were a bit premature.

That was brilliant. Hugely embarrassing for Faber and his team though.

Fabers attempt to stir up shit was cringe worthy as well.

Should be a good fight next week - who are you picking?
