Hi all long time no see. Just to say im off to this event soon, main event featuring Bob Sapp vs local judoka Karl Etherington! (who by the way is a potential opponent for my first BJJ comp at the end of this month lol) Will report on the Beast's fight/result as soon as i get chance.

How is everyone anyway?

a very deflated looking Bob Sapp got submitted by a footlock (that somehow injured his thigh) by someone called Atila Ucar (7-3 record after beating Bob). That was on saturday in Vienna.

Then on sunday he lost via KO (elbow) in the first round to a 170 lbs kickboxer. That was in Hungary.

edit: the second fight was kickboxing fight.

Sapp didnt show, apparently he got held back at customs. Instead some stand in got smashed by Etherington in 19 seconds and then repeatedly punched in the face even though he wqas clearly out. Etherington is clearly juicing and I am genuinly worried if I have to roll with him at the end of this month Sad

Checked out this Etherington guy....a youtube comment calls him "another juiced up doorman jumping on the bandwagon". I can't really argue with it he looks like a typical juicing gym monkey. Its a shame as well because what you have in smaller promotions is no restraints on steroid use, and people like that tend to dominatee many higher weight classes.

Still, tecnique can always beat strength. Good luck! Very Happy
