That's gay, i missed three quarters of the last round and so have dropped from something like seventh to 14th!

Ging when you said about adding the average score of the rounds some people missed to their overall score, was that just to see where we would actually be or something that you would actually consider doing if others were ok with it?

It was just an indicative thing.


Last year, the league spanned the entire year. This seemed to work ok but by the end, only a few people were competitive. In a bid to open the competition up a bit, I am considering limiting each league season to 150 fights and having perhaps 3 a year.

There are quite a few advantages to this.
- People who missed the start of the season don't have to wait a full year to join and be competitive.
- One bad round can throw a whole season and a year is a long time to look up from the bottom of the table (I should know )
- Missing a round or a few fights can stuff up a season and I haven't found a way to treat this fairly.
- More prizes!!

For those who never miss a round or fight, there will still be an Ultimate Champion who will be the highest scorer over the calendar year.

As this is the Armbars competition I need to get everyones approval for any changes. Please let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

I am a bit flat out at the moment so there will be no round covering this weekend. Round 8 will be posted in the weekend and will hopefully get us to the 150 fight mark which will end the first league season for the year if the change as above is accepted by a majority of members.

How about 3 leagues a year, With the winners of each league facing off at the end of the year, over the new year cards, to crown the champ of that year. Or it might just be Payne competing against himself having won all 3 leagues!

3 leagues a year is fine by me, and the 3 champs facing off over the new years card is also a good idea.

Guess i need a stormer in the next picks then!

Also, the second league will probably span about a month as June is a crazy month for MMA! You could just do 1 big round with 150 picks probably!!!

I dont mind either way, whatever Payne and 2brutal want im ok with.

So is next round last round? How about having 2 leagues a year, and each league is 10 rounds long?

I'm down for whatever, the sooner a new league can start to make up for the fights I missed the better
