I know he's only training up the M6 but does anyone else think Rampage looks a little past it? I can see him getting dominated by Evans

I think Rampage's hands have improved but all around he has regressed.
might be strong enough to stay on the feet and catch Rashad though.

Im not sure really, Rampage in the UFC has been much better than when he was in Pride. His game hasn't really regressed, it hasn't got much better by any means but he is still a pretty good wrestler. Rashad is a tough fight though and he might be tempted to stand with Rampage and then its anyone's game.

Love the 24/7 MMA shows, Rampage's camp seems so much lower level, sparring partners, coaches and training methods. Rampage has what he always had he is a big powerhouse and now has better boxing with heavy hands but I dont think he will have evolved much in Liverpool.
Evans is a lot smaller, you wonder if Rampage would be hard for him to controll on the ground? He has a lot more handspeed by the look of it and better Kicks so do people see him risking Standing with Ramapage?
To be Honest I think Rampage on his game is better than Evans on his game, But evans development as a fighter has been so much better, its wether he will have evolved enough as a figher to beat the same Rampage we have always seen and Id back him to.
Jackson has a good gameplan for his guys it seems to be, Evans has that advantage I think you only have to look at his fight with T.Silva to see he will stick to a good gameplan.
Head says Evans UD 30-27, but as bad as he came across in TUF or leaving UFC for acting my heart says Rampage Powerbomb KO!!

Guys didn't know where to post this and its not really worthy of a new thread but wtf is this 'winning streak' thing??

The more you post and the more threads you make the higher your winning streak is. And the winning streak determines what weight you are.

I was going to ask the same thing, I never knew that. I always though it was just the number of posts that determined what weight class you are.

I'm excited about Duffee and have been singing his praises for a while now,I think he will walk through the bottom end of the UFC HW's.

I know most people dont rate Russow much, but he is a very underated fighter and can cause a few Heavys some problems. So this would be a very good win for Duffee in my book anyway. A much tougher fight than what most people think. But Duffee should still win anyway.
We know he has big KO power, i suppose his ground game is still of a mystery, but training with Frank Mir, i suspect his ground game isnt too bad at this stage. I hope.
Mir has been really impressed with him, ive heard him say in interviews. He says that Duffee has unbelievable power in his hands. And Mir would know, hes been hit by some huge fucking guys in his career

Lol i just saw this now
Speaking via UFC.com, Duffee said:
“Russow’s probably the most underrated heavyweight in the division, no question, People tend not to know who he is, but I’ve known about him before he got into the UFC. If you said name three guys that are bad matchups for you, he would undoubtedly be on that list.”
“Here we have one of the most over-hyped fighters going against one of the most underrated in the heavyweight division, I am highly hyped. Am I overrated? I don’t think so. But I’ve been over-hyped by that seven-second knockout.
“Right now this is my one opportunity, my one shot, You know, I have a job coming up right now. I don’t have a career. Anybody who thinks I have a career doesn’t really understand what happens in MMA. If I go out and beat Mike Russow I have a start to my career. Everybody talks about their first time in the UFC as their big shot, I didn’t believe that and I still don’t—I think when you fight a formidable opponent, that’s when you find out.”
“I heard Floyd Mayweather say it – we may shadow box the same, do this or that the same, but it’s what happens when the fights come on that really matters, With only six professional fights we can’t say that I’m the second coming or some of the ridiculous stuff that people come up with. I think this Russow fight is really going to determine where I’m at. I don’t think it’s going to determine my career by any means, but it’s going to give people insight into what kind of talent level I have.”

I scrolled down quickly in work when that Pic came up. Didnt want anyone to think I was looking at Oily men in Tight shorts! Kid is a monster, Rossow is a great test a 265er with wrestling and a Sub game. If he gets throught this his next fight is going to be a big one.... Maby throw him in with my favorite gatekeeper Gonzaga!
Anyway what do you lads think, Is this an accurate pic of the Lesnar/Carwin size difference?
Carwin is quite thickly set so you dont get his full size seeing him from the front but It guess this is the actual size difference or close to... I think Carwin is 6" at the most, I saw him becide Marquardt and he looked shorter!

Yeah i remember Brock dwarfed Carwin at UFC 112 after the fight. They will both weighin at 265 but come fight night Brock is going to be the bigger and heavier guy. And that may very prove to be the difference in the fight to swing it in Brocks favour.
I must say if Brock dominates Carwin and wins comfortably, then i dont really fancy anyones chances of beating him at HW division. I know thats seems a silly thing to say about a guy thats 4-1 but there are not many people out there who have fought and beaten the calibre of fighters that Brock has in their first 5 fights.

Ye I also really like Duffee, he is quite humble in the interview which is good but a suprise considering he trains with Mir From some of the fights I've seen, his boxing looks a little sloppy but that will improve, the kid's a freaking beast as well. The most important thing is he doesn't get carried away with the hype like Vera did (unjustifiablly I might add) and keeps focusing on his game.
