Amazing HLs for such a short career, he looks incredibly talented. With him, Davis, Bader, King Mo and Mousasi the LHW division is going to be incredible in a few years.

That was a waste of 9 mins! Pro Wrestling in Japan is shitter than the US! That was really really fake looking with only 1 or 2 actual "Moves" in the fight! Serious shite... if that bloke has the build of a Pro Wrestler there hope for us all! Is that Minowas finishing move? has it a cool name?

Pro wrestling in Japan is actually of a much higher standard than in America in terms of the actual in-ring action. Gimmick matches like that are done for money making purposes on the smaller shows. HUSTLE are to blame for most of it, they loved gimmick shit and tried to bring WWE style to Japan but Pro Wrestling NOAH, Dragon Gate, All Japan and New Japan generally stage great events with great matches. And it's far more realistic that the shit you see in America. And they still keep to Kayfabe and everything. If you're a fan of old pro wrestling, and ring of honour and dragon gate USA you'll love Japanese wrestling.

For me this is when Pro Wrestling was good... Facepaint, Bad Haircuts, Big Slamming moves! 80's/90's Wrestling all the way! And Tagteams that had the same Gymic! I dont watch Wrestling anymore, I had TNA wrestling on in the background once, much much better than WWE... But Ive never really watched Japanese wrestling, every time I see a clip it looks shite... Saw Barnett, Sapp, Frye etc.. a few MMA guys wreslte just out of curiosity and didnt enjoy it.

Watch some Mid 90's All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), especially any matches involving Mitsuharu Misawa, Kenta Kobashi and especially my personal favourite Toshiaki Kawada

It's a bit sad that I know this but here goes. The first quote is from ALI but I don't think it's from the WIll Smith version but an earlier straight to TV version, the next is a mash up of Rocky II when his son is born and then (the new) Rocky Balboa when he's talking to his son who is embarrassed by him. the last quote about 'rising up' I think is from a film called freedom writers, a film akin to dangerous minds but not 100% on the last one. Great video though...

Anyone got anything about Sakuraba life apart from Wikipedia? lol! was the Kimo fight fixed or something? I hear Saku us a big drinker as well... seems a real character. Id love to read a bit about him.
What about him coming to SF and fighting at MW? Fighting Hendo there or Japan? Fighting Soko maby, Im gutted the fight with Frank shammy never came togeather that would have been cool.
