Seems Bellator PPV was the way to get him back, he is booked in a rematch against Michael Chandler on the Rampage vs Tito card.

    http://www.mmajunkie.com/news/2013/08/eddie-alvarez-and-bellator-mend-fences-book-michael-chandler-rematch-for-ppv

So much for Bellator yacking on about how title shots are earned and not handed out like UFC. Eddie should have had to win a tournament but I understand why the exception was made for him.

Good start to a PPV ill say that much anyway, this could end up a success after all.

Maby a Superfight between champs? 180lbs Askren vs Shlemenko or maby Curran vs Dantas at 140lbs?

Nice 1,I'm just glad for Eddie that he'll be fighting again and not wasting a chunk of his peak years waiting for courts to decide his future.

This should be the headliner for the PPV.

I just hope that the Tito - page fight is only a 3 rounder.

I think they may try and put a few of this seasons tournament finals on the card, you've got the MW semis on Oct 4th,FW semis,Oct 11th,WW 18th and LW on the 25th,so maybe the MW and FW finals anyway.

I'd imagine they'd want Joe warren on this card.Dantes vs warren?

Maybe Straus can get his shit together and curran will have an opponent.

Newton vs Vegh hasn't got a date yet.

then you have King Mo,maybe they'll give him the winner of M'Pumbo vs the janitor which is on Sept 13th,ex champ or former UFC guy.

Bellators roster is now a lot deeper,so they should have no problems making this a strong card, but it needs some of their champs on it to sell I think, but how many of their champs can they get away with putting on it.

I wouldn't put any of Bellators poor HW's on this card but

    Mo
    Warren
    Janitor
    M'Pumbu
    saunders
    Lima
    Amoussou
    Zaromskis
    War Machine
    Rick Hawn
    Ryan Ford
    Michael Page
    Matthew Riddle
    Rich Clementi
    David Rickels
    Dave Jansen(supposed to fight Chandler)
    Marcus Davis
    Rob McCullough
    Kurt Pellegrino
    John Alessio
    Paul Sass
    Marlon Sandro
I'd say Patricio Freire and Diego Nunes but they are both in a new tourney
    Rob Emerson
Marcos Galvão are all fighters with name value to the majority of MMA fans that wouldn't be out of place on this card.

Jaysus! that roster is a lot stronger than Id have thought. Good shout on King Mo fighting the Janitor/M'Pumbo winner, they need to use Mo on the card he is probabally one of the most popular fighters under their banner. Isnt he fighting Vegh though? Suppose a loss wouldnt strip him of his shot but it would be an odd situation...

Volkov vs Minakov for the Hw title is happening too, maby a Hw title fight would mean a lot even just to say its the Hw title on the line in a PPV? Suppose neither guy has much star power to sell PPVs though.

Newton after beating Mo in the first tourney is still waiting on his shot a Veigh first,Mo's supposed to get the winner of that.

Though Mo was calling for a rematch with Newton first,if Veigh is still out injured,so maybe it'll be Newton vs Mo 2 on PPV.

Their roster is getting surprising strong now.

Here's Wiki's list of their full roster:

    http://www.mmajunkie.com/news/2013/08/bellator-institutes-tournament-champion-replacement-clause-for-title-fights

Theres something about Bellator now havning a system to allow someone to fight for the title if the tornament winner is injured, points based that reward fighters who finish fights. I love this idea. Also rematches for titles when they feel they are deserved.

Its sometimes hard to keep track of Bellator, what happens when someone like Straus is injured or Newton/Mo's case.
