UFC needs to focus on Russia next.

I hear they are planning on bringing UFC to Russia but I think Fedor has a big hand in anything MMA related in Russia so they might have a tought time cracking the market. Bellator seems to have a handfull of good Russian fighters and im wondering if there is a reason they have signed with Bellator and not UFC

I looked at the top Russians in MMA and listed them below

    Heavyweights
Alexander Volkov - 19-3-0, 24 years old (Bellator)
Vitaly Minakov - 12-0-0, 28 years old (Bellator)
    Magomed Malikov - 7-2-0, 29 years old (M-1)
Ruslan Magomedov - 10-1-0, 26 years old (Battle of Moscow)
Konstantin Erokhin - 3-1-0, 31 years old (Battle of Moscow)
Evgeny Erokhin - 5-2-0, 27 years old (Battle of Moscow)
Sergei Kharitonov - 20-6-0, 32 years old (Free agent)

    Lightheavyweights
Mikhail Zayats - 21-7-0, 31 years old (Bellator)
    Viktor Nemkov - 18-4-0, 26 years old (M-1)
Maxim Grishin - 15-6-0, 29 years old (NAAFS)
Artur Astakhov - 5-1-0, 25 years old (ProFC)

    Middleweights
Alexander Shlemenko - 47-7-0, 29 years old (Bellator)
    Vyacheslav Vasilevsky - 21-2-0, 25 years old (M-1)
Sultan Aliev - 9-1-0, 28 years old (Bellator)

    Welterweights
Andrey Koreshkov - 13-1-0, 22 years old (Bellator)
    Rashid Magomedov - 15-1-0, 29 years old (M-1)
Adlan Amagov - 12-2-1, 28 years old (UFC)
Shamil Zavurov 21-3-1, 29 years old (Battle of Moscow)

    Lightweights
Khabib Nurmagomedov - 20-0-0, 24 years old (UFC)
    Musa Khamanaev - 13-3-0, 27 years old (M-1)
Alexander Sarnavskiy - 23-1-0, 24 years old (Bellator)
    Mairbek Taisumov - 19-4-0, 25 years old (M-1)
Murad Machaev - 12-1-0, 26 years old (Battle of Moscow)

    Featherweights
Magomedrasul Khasbulaev - 21-5-0, 26 years old (Bellator)
Shahbulat Shamhalaev - 12-2-1, 29 years old (Bellator)

    Bantamweight
    None of note

    Flyweight
    Ali Bagautinov - 10-2-0 (UFC)
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ali Bagautinov was signed by UFC from the Battle of Moscow promotion. M-1 arent going to let their fighters go to UFC without a fight and Bellator is direct competition with UFC so I think they should try to snap a few fighters up from the Battle of Moscow promotion.

Bellator - 9 top Russia fighters
    M-1 - 6
    Battle of Moscow - 5
    UFC - 3

Anyone know why so many are going to Bellator insted of UFC? Is this a market UFC wont be able to crack?
