Crocop vs Aleks II and Crocop vs Ishii booked 6206_403226303123692_1348254392_n.0_standard_730.0

Crocops manager has confirmed Crocop will fight Aleks in Russia in Octover and Ishii in Inoki's promotion on NYE. There has been big interest in Crocop from Brazilian promotions and US promotions aparently.

He also plans of doing more K-1 fights.

I wonder what Crocop gets per fight these days? I though the Gp would be a nice noote to retire on. MMA wise his UFC fights were bad losses, especially Schaub. He isnt top 20 level any more and Although Aleks and Ishii arent quite there either these are both dangerous fights and im expecting him to lose one.

K-1 has more legends on the slide to match him up against, Sefo was a good oponent and not a bad fight, JLB has fallen off the radar in relevance but his name still is up there with the greats and he can draw the crowds. Aerts is another one, these are big name K-1 guys not performing at top level any more who CC holds wins over. Bring on the K-1 fights but Id want him to wrap up his MMA career soon.

I wish him luck Anyway, Aleks with medical/Criminal background isnt going to break into the UFC and Ishii needs a wakeup call that he isnt a heavyweight. Id hate to see CC lose either but Aleks hits hard enough to turn his lights out and is a better fighter than Schaub id say. Mirko needs to keep his cool and settle into a striking match, I think in UFC he wasnt striking like he should because he was constantly thinking about TDD, if he keeps his cool I think he will find his shot and win, he Rocked Nelson so he has a good chance of stopping anyone. 60/40 CC will win but Ive my doubts given their ages and the wars Mirco has been through since in the rematch.

Ishii isnt big enough to utalise his Judo on Mirko, Cc just isnt the type of guy to be slung over someone hip and taken down, he has fantastic balance and a lot of power in his legs, he has a wide stance and keeps a low centre of gravity well to avoid throws. I remember in Pride the trouble guys like Barnett had taking him down, the Ring may favor a Judoka over the cage but it also favors a striker as it doesnt allow holding against the cage which was a problem for CC. Headkick KO id say.

Aleks will rematch Monson after the Crocop fight.

Seems he is actually trying to get his career back on tracks, a win over these 2 would make him relevant again. Aleks has 6 losses in total, avenging 2 of them would be a great thing. I think he should go after the others outside UFC too.

Peter Graham is on an 8 fight, 8 TKO run. Id like to see Aleks go after him too. He has also been Boxing and Kickboxing as well as MMA, 2 wins in boxing during the 8 fight run and 3-1 in kickboxing. If Aleks can win either of these rematches Graham should be his next target.

Malikov is a realative unknown to most fans but he has beat both Aleks and Monson, there are 4 guys he could try and avenge losses to outside UFC, id love to see the fights but I dont know if Aleks can pull the trigger like he used to.

Today is a day of news. PROFC officially announced the name of my opponent in the battle, which will be held in Rostov-on-Don on August 25. They became American Darrill "The Boss" Schoonover. In his statistics 13 wins from 18 fights. I look forward to all in Rostov in the tournament!
