Benson gets the Maynard vs Grant winner.

Gil should fight Josh thompson again, the winner of that would deserve a title fight and their previous fights have been good, its like JMM vs Pacman the rivalry doesnt fell over. If not one of them should fight Diego Sanchez and the other Gomi.

Nate said he wants to go to 170, Dana doesnt like it. Time for him and Nick to make some decisions about where they train. Or Cesar gracie to employ a muay thai coach. Always thought Kicks would make the diaz boys untocuhable and if they focused on Thai boxing like they did boxing they could get to the top again. Now it almost seems a defensive hole in their games.

Cormier should get Overeem if he wants another Hw fight but I see him taking time off and cutting to 205, id say Mousasi but reports are he is headed back to 185. I think the dust has to settle in the 205 devision with the top guys matched up but he will walk into a number 1 contenders fight for sure.

Mir vs Browne. For Mir its back to the drawing board to reinent himself again... Maby time he stops getting put up against the cage! Laughing Bitta wrestling defence, footwork to step off and not get put into the cage in the 1st place. Hell of a gatekeeper and I hope he sticks around. Travis Browne needs a win to get on to the title picture.

Brown vs Kampmann should happen it would be great to see and the winner a number 1 contenders fight. Kos and Kim are 2 fights I dont want to see him in. Diaz or Alves would be cool too.

Benavidez I dont know about, is MM injured? if so Moraga and him need to fight. McCall rematch makes sense other than that.

Mendes vs Guida works well, Guida would rely on striking more than he has recently.

    Carmont vs Stann

    Jury vs Masvidal

Anthony Njokuani vs Coutures kid or something...

Romero vs Leben would be great.

Melendez deserves a rematch far far more than Edgar did, it was one of the closest fights I've ever seen, and to be honest I thought Gil won, taking rounds 1,2 and 5.

I don't want to see Melendez v Thompson again, I'd rather see them each fight a new opponent. Someone like Jim Miller maybe.

Winner of Grant v Maynard is apparently getting the title shot. Although I've lost count of the number of times the UFC hypes a fight as a '#1 contender fight' only for the winner to not actually fight for the title or even get near a title fight.

Agreed I had Gil much closer than Edgar when he got a rematch. I honestly think it was just him taking his goot off the Gas and letting Bendo attack too much. Id back him in a rematch but Id say UFC will want new blood.

Jim Miller vs Gil is a great Idea but style wise Diego would make for a war and he is on a high after being gifted that decision over Gomi.

Gil who lost a close title fight vs Diego who always seems to be handed the decision if its close! Lets get it on!!

You seen the UFC rankings? They are fuckin rediculous, they dont always put the fighter who wins higher. JT is 8th but Nate is 6th... right.... Rolling Eyes

The ratings are rubbish Ben I see Bisping is still rated Top 5 even though he has 1 Top 10 win to his name and every other time he has stepped up in competition he's choked. IMO Thomson is at least Top 5 he's certainly ahead of Cerrone & Miller.

I'd like to see Thomson actually fight the Miller vs Healy winner next going on the UFC's wacky ratings a fight with Miller seems about right. DC vs Jones would be great, Matt Brown against Condit would be a big test for Brown I know Condit is coming off 2 defeats but I think this is a winnable fight for him and Brown deserves a 'name fighter'.

I agree on Gil deserving a rematch with Bendo but with that not happening a fight with Donald Cerrone would be a good scrap and both are coming off defeats.
