Not the most enjoyable event but a few results that put a smile of my face.

Without checking the predictions id reckon the people picking Cung to win were few and far betweem. Rich was being asked about a 3rd Anderson fight before this one...

Fair play to Cung, I still think he could make 170lbs but if he isnt interested in cutting Brian Stann would be an ideal opponent. (Or Maby Leben if he wins against Vermola) I say at 40 get him fighting asap, I know his foot was hurt or something but Id like to see him kept active and see what damage he can do in the UFC before he is too old.

Good to see Thiago Silva win, those Blackzillians are on a tear! Personally id like to see him vs Jimmo next. Dull fight but he got a tasty sub to finish. He just got wall and stalled too much, Something im sure that wont take too much work to adjust.

Gomi winning was amazing, with 2 back to back wins his place in the UFC is secure, now he needs to work his way back up. Barboza would be a great opponent or maby Guillard/Varner winner if they arent moving on to bigger and better things. I want someone who will really stand and slug with Gomi, he hasnt a long career left and id want to see him in a few firefights before he hangs em up.

Tuck looked good, he isnt really on the radar though and cant help feel he was on the main card because he was fighting an chineese fighter.

Dong Hyun Kim called for a Maia rematch, Fluke win or not the 1st time I dont think beating P.Thiago puts him on Maia's level one fight later, personally id like to see if Siyar could take his head off.

Mizugaki dominated, he has alternated between wins and losses for his last to fights but always looses to top guys, likewise Ive only see Raphael Assuncao loose to the best, id like to see a clash of styles and see if either one of them is ready for something bigger again.

It was a mixed card I haven't seen the prelims so I won't comment on them.

What a KO from Cung I think It was me and Ging who backed Cung in prediction league Very Happy. I like Rich but to me he always looks iffy against good technical strikers so I just had this hunch, Hard to say what's next for Cung like you Ben I feel he would be better suited to 170. I've just got this crazy feeling he might get thrown into a Title fight with Anderson It seems like a fight he would agree to.

Great win for Gomi that's the best he has looked for a few years he also looked to have pretty good movement and cardio. I would think the next fight for Gomi will be someone like Michael Johnson and good up and comer against the old war horse Gomi sounds like a good move to me.

I also backed Cung! (although by decision, for some reason). I would have liked for him to have fought Belfort next, but that obviously isn't happening.

Cungs career is nearing its end at the top level, and since he never really gave MMA a 'proper go' It would be nice to see him make up for lost time against some big names. Fights against guys like Wanderlei and Franklin are the kind of fights that make sense for Le. I'm not sure fights against solid top 10 competitors that may or may not be remembered in a couple of years time would be the best way to spend the twilight of his career.

I think Thiago Silva is going to be the 205lb gatekeeper from now on. He's a very good fighter, but he's not going to threaten the cream of LHW. A fight against creaking Shogun next, perhaps?

Gomi looked good. He also looked like he could easily make 145.

Is Hyun KIm the most boring fighter in the UFC?

Fair play lads, I totally used MMAth and just looked at the Wand fights, I though Rich was going back to the top of that devision, HUGE upset I reckon, Just looked and fightmatrix has Cung up at 14th ahead of Stann now. 2-1 in the UFC... I dont know if he is popular enough to get a title shot, a fight with Stann could put him in line or Leben again with a win but dont see him walking into one now, a nice spinning kick finish in the would help his case.

Gomi at 145 is a stretch. I know he was about the size of Guida who is heading there but he is Asian. They dont like to cut or cant cut massive amounts of weight like Muricans can Laughing

T.Silva isnt winning the tilte any time soon agreed but Blackzillians looked to have really polished Rumble, im sure they can do the same for him.

Yes, Kim is dull allright, hit Nate Diaz a few good slams I think if I remember right.
