Rampage leaves wolfslair, refocused on MMA Empty Rampage leaves wolfslair, refocused on MMA

Rampage has reportedly left the wolfslair gym and seems to be refocused on MMA, especially the wrestling aspect of it. He has been training with King Mo, Cormier and Cain from what im hearding and with him being on TRT now Id expect him to look good when he returns for his final UFC fight.

Meathead challenged him to a catchweight fight which apparently he accepted but I dont know if UFC will want to use him that way.

He also ran his mouth about Bader, saying he fought Bader injured and told Bader he was hurt but he would still fight, just wanted to put on a good show for the fans and was angry Bader just tried to dry hump him.

Its unfortunate that he has found his love for the sport when his UFC deal is running done because there really isnt anything out there for him at Lhw anyway.

Who you all want to see him return against? Im thinking will UFC want him to leave on a win? Do they risk a high profile fighter against him to hand him a loss or put him on an undercard against a lesser guy?

Look forward to seeing his return because its clear wolfslair was at least partly to blame for his decline.

Pretty sure i've heard the same story leading up to every Rampage fight since the rashad fight, that Rampage has rediscovered his focus, is better than ever etc etc.

I'll believe it when i see it!

Rampage has been saying he's not in love with the sport for ages now,so if his hearts not in it,I can't believe anything will be different from the Rampage we've been watching in his last few fights, give him someone that'll stand with him,so he has no excuses if he loses.

I wanted to see Glover knock the shit out of him,but I actually like the Meathead - Rampage match up,it would make for an exciting fight,Meathead says he's down to about 235,Rampage walks around close to that.
Rampage has been constantly bitching about wrestlers, meathead will definitely not be trying to wrestle him, plus there's supposedly some beef between the two, something to do with meatheads Asian wife and some comments made from members of Rampages entourage at a party, also with this being Rampages last fight, the result doesn't effect anything in either division.

also i don't think it's the wolflair that is the cause of Rampages decline,it's Rampage and his attitude that i think is the sole reason for that.

Agreed. I've heard this too many times from Quinton. His days in mma are numbered in my opinion, he dodged a bullet with Teixeira there.

I also wish people would stop calling him rampage... he was deserved of that nickname back in the day, not so much now!

I still think he will remain with the UFC unless his movie career re-ignites, I just don't see him...with all due respect...Lowering himself to sign up with Bellator or WSOF in front of a couple hundred or thousand fans at some Casino resort.

Agree with efils, A motivated Jackson ?.......I'll believe It when I see It.

He's a few years late leaving Wolfslair.

Rampage is done, everybody knows it. Deep down even he knows it. He's just looking at his bank balance and his army of kids and trying to crunch numbers long term. He needs somebody to be stupid and give him a big deal after he leaves the UFC.

Howdy all. Not been here for a while so hope you're all well.

I watched the MMA Hour yesterday with Rampage on it and he took a wee swipe as Bisping (under his breath) about not paying his training partners.

He did say he's just fighting to get paid so i think whatever happens after his last fight, he'll go where the money is. He claims his managers have had offers from other promotions offering him more money than the UFC but can't say who as he's still under contract.

His chat with Meathead was quite funny. They suggested a winner takes all fight so the winner gets both purses then he got up and strated dancing Gangyam style? Which was pretty funny too.

He doesn't sound motivated by MMA anymore but sounds motivated by money. He does seem to have a lot of respect for fans though and just wants to leave the UFC as a respected fighter so fair play to him for that.
