Nelson vs Carwin, who wins

Im probabally not going to watch the series, TUF is wearing thin on me but I look forward to the Coaches fighting Nelson vs Carwin should be a good one.

Im backing Carwin to KO Nelson.

Nelsons chin is great but I think Carwin is going to find it over and over and put him to sleep.

I think Nelson will beat Carwin the fact Carwin has had 12 months off and can only do 2 minutes never mind 1 Round I gotta favor Nelson If he doesn't get tagged too hard.

I think Carwin is a top HW and if he has cleared up his back issues,I don't think he'll have much of a problem in this fight.

Roy will either get dropped in the clinch and finished or taken down and pounded out.

I think Nelson will win, JDS couldn't KO him and as seen if you get past round 1 with Carwin you have a very good chance from then on.

Getting past Rd 1 with Carwin is far easier said than done,but even if the fight does go past rd 1, Roy has still only won 2 decisions in his career,while losing 6 of them.

Carwin went 3 rds with JDS as well don't forget,admittedly he looked fucked at the end,but then so did Roy after going 3 rds with JDS.(infact they both lost 30-26,30-27,30-27 to JDs)

To many people will forever have the Brock fight stuck in their minds,when talking Carwin's cardio.

Carwin went all Donkey Kong and blew his wad,throwing far to many wild crazy punches tying to finish.I'm pretty sure he learned a hell of a lesson in that fight and won't make the same mistakes again.

I think the chances of Roy knocking Carwin out are very slim to be honest,he's not going to win a clinch war,he's not going to be able to out wrestle or take Carwin down and he hasn't subbed anyone for 6 odd years.

The deck to me seems quite heavily stacked against Roy in this one.

Realistically, Carwin should win this. But whether he will knock him out I dunno, Nelson is one tough dude!!

Having said that, there are some factors hugely against Carwin: His age, The fact that his last fight was over a year ago and his last win was over 2 years ago. Nelson does have the ability to land that big shot.

it doesnt matter how good Nelson's chin is.

there is no such chin that can stand to be hit hard by Carwin.

I've gone with Nelson, just because I'm uncertain as to whether Carwin is going to suffer from his absence. If it's the Carwin that KO'd Mir and almost demolished Brock, then I can see him handing Nelson a stoppage, however, wasn't massively impressed with the last time Carwin fought.

Who cares, two mediocre HWs, one of whom is an extremely fat LHW. Nelson might make the TUF series watchable, Carwin has the personality of a kitchen stool.

Neither of them are up to much as fighters, Nelson just can't hang with the elite guys and Carwin is massively over-hyped because he's a UFC produced musclehead. Him vs Brock being described as "The biggest HW fight in MMA history" still ranks as one of the funniest things that the UFC have put out in the public domain.

I'll go with Nelson because of his ground game, Carwin can't defend submissions and has a shocking gas tank. If Nelson gets beyond the first round, he'll be able to get him down and keep him down.
