All, this is perfect for me as it's my hometown. If they do put Hardy on the fight the place will be wild. Hopefully they will match him against a stand up fighter to ensure fireworks.

I went to the Froch fight on Saturday and although I was very pissed the atmosphere was electric all night. Crowd are right on top of the ring/octagon which makes it very noisy and intimidating.

Once I heard it was in Nottingham, I immediately thought of Daley, wonder if it is a possiblity. Wouldnt be strange of Dana to go back on his word.

I think Hardy is a cert for this card for sure.

Im definately gonna go to this card...any else on here going? Very Happy

Also, anyone know when tickets go on sale?

Great to hear the UFC is going to my home City of Nottingham cheers ,it's something I wouldn't of even imagined not long ago.

I read they are talking about making it a Fuel TV event.

The UK cards will never be full of star power because of not being able to be US PPV,but we have some exciting lower star power European fighters that could still fill this card out and make it a great card to watch.(as long as they don't try and put to many of our crap British HW's on the card)

I think Hardy and Pickett are a must, and the fights like the already scheduled Mills vs lauzon and pearson vs swanson would of been great on this card.
for me turn it into a mostly WEC style card full of the lower paid little guys with a mixture of some of the bigger British fighters and your guaranteed a great night of fights.

If you could make this card, knowing you aren't going to be getting any of the top stars that take a PPV percentage in their pay packets, who would you like to see on this card?

What about Gustafsson? He could be involved? Maybe as a headliner or you think he's above UFC on Fuel now? I think that's about the maximum level of talent we can expect anyways....

I'm 100% getting tickets for this, on a side note what's Nottingham like for a night out? Be rude not have a few beers after the event...

Hathaway will almost certain be on it too I'd imagine.

Atmosphere should be excellent, any event I've ever been to in Nottingham generally has a great atmosphere regardless of it being football, fighting or even concerts.

Sammj, Nottingham is a crackin night out. Saturday night for the Froch fight was awesome with loads of people out after the Test Match at Trent Bridge and with the weather made it perfect.

Payne, good news its in Nottingham mate. I'd have Hardy, Pickett, Hathaway, Etim maybe Che Mills on the card at least. Maybe Hardy v Akiyama/Paulo Thiago?? Would be good to get at least one half decent US/Brazilian 'name' on the card.

Would love to see Paul Daley on the card but don't see it, I think Dana White knows this will sell out even without Hardy but would make sense to have him headline it.

I like the sounds of Akiyama vs Hardy, that would be a good fight.

I think Gustaffson vs Lil Nog would make a good headliner,Gustaffson vs Bader aswell, but he's fighting Machida the month before, but that's as high a level I think you'd be getting for this card.If Gustaffson fights anyone ranked above these, then you'll have no chance seeing him on this card.

They'll probably re arrange the Diabate vs Kruth fight for this card as well since that was supposed to be on the last fuel card.

Even though Daley is a Notts boy,and I like to support my own,to be fair, since he got the boot from the UFC,he's hardly set the MMA world on fire to be deserving of his place back.

He's won 6 times since his release and lost 3,but in 50% of his wins,he has come in over weight, wasn't he something like 6-7 pounds over against Radev and you know the UFC don't take coming in over weight lightly.

Sammyj I've had a few brilliant nights out at Nottingham. I love my ice hockey and follow the devils and the panthers away games are always a good time, Especially the play offs weekend.

Anyone see Tom Watson getting a shot with the UFC anytime soon? This could be a good card to try him out.

Is British Ice Hockey good?? I love watching the NHL and if I'm in the states during the season I'll always try and get to at least one game. Never been in the UK though, is there still a team in Belfast??

Yeah mate, Belfast Giants. I would get down the odd time to watch it, just for the banter to be honest, not really into it but its good entertainment to watch. Theres a lot of die hard hockey fans though, my mate being one of them, doesnt miss a game, travels all over the UK watching the Giants.

What months does the season run? I'm getting a bit fed up in my caravan, would quite like a bit of a road trip.
