We had some good fights to start this season off.Bellator was a fun card but I thought the UFC on Fox 3 card was great.
we had Diaz putting on another great performance(that boy keeps getting better and better)against a solid contender in Miller,Barry showing some ground skills before getting smashed standing and one of the best stand out performances I've witnessed in a long time,with Belcher playing paul harris at his own game,arguable getting the better of him there and then smashing him through his guard to finish the fight.brilliant performance.
Hendricks did well to out work Kos to get the decision,Hathaway looked solid and those little guys are great to watch,great cardio and the pace they set is just relentless.Lineker vs Gaudinot was a war and Dodson vs Elliott was also fun fight
I'm looking forward to the up coming HW card,but shit,give me a WEC style card full of Fw's,BW's and Fly weights anyday.
Including the four players that have joined this through JA 606,we started the season with 18 players.
The leader after round 1 is being held by a long time Armbar member but first time prediction league player,Jud_Danger.Congratulations mate.
He just edged out p4p for the top spot,who ended up with the same score,but predicted 2 less winners than Jud_Danger.
Pete has continued his good run of form from last season and is only 5 pts behind in 3rd place.
New boy and JA 606 player,Hominicks Hematoma is the early front runner for the wooden spoon.
OK on to round 2.
With a few events coming fast and furious over a short period of time,this is going to be a big round,covering four events,Bellator 68 & 69,UFC On Fuel TV 3 and the Strikeforce HW grand Prix final.
There will be 2 trumps allowed for this round,but remember you can not use both trumps at one event,you can only use one trump per event.
You all know the rules,Don't forget your Trump picks and remember you can't Trump main event fights,they will be in Red writing,good luck everyone.
