Cant believe i was the only 1 to call the main event exactly right. I cant see how it was going to finish any other way. Razz

    Nice 1

I thought he would use more of the tactic melendez used, and just avoid the sloppy takedown attempts, keep popping him and dropping him on his arse, stand him up,rinse and repeat for 15 mins.

I didn't really expect him to follow Aoki down and unload to be honest.

    Laughing

Me too,I'm not sure which I enjoy more, watching real top class western opposition expose the over rated Aoki or watching the myth of Cro-cop being exposed in the UFC and being found out for being exactly that,a myth created by Japanese wrestling promoters.

Alvarez just got his place in UFC, Aoki looked in over his head. Finishing a top 5-10 guy like Aoki is like that and now a free agent! If edgar looses to Bendo again I want to see Alvarez vs Edgar still if he stays at 155. After offering Lombard a contract im sure Alvarez gets one too.

Judo works much better in a ring, Aoki is one guy from Japan would will never transition into Western MMA, ive seen him just run at guys and initiate a clintch knowing if they hit the ropes he will get momentim for a TD.

Alvarez and Edgar are teammates. They would probably fight for title but cant see them fighting not for the belt.
