This is Vadim, Fedors managers response to Dana laughing off Fedor coming to UFC

UFC President Dana White recently said that he has zero interest in signing Fedor...

You need to know Dana. If he says he has no interest in signing Fedor, then in fact, he really wants to. He says one thing, and doing another. How can you not want a fighter who can bring millions? Any fight with Fedor could break all the rating records in the UFC.

Maybe you should make the first step?

We are open for dialogue. It's just that Dana White thinks that we will come to him, kneel down and say: "We are ready for any conditions to sign a contract." Of course, this will never happen. Fedor deserves nothing but respect. But like I said, there's still a high demand for Fedor. We are ready to have Fedor fighting in the UFC, it's just that we need a normal offer. And the fact that White is always saying that he offered us everything "on a silver platter" is a lie.

So a fan Twitterd Lorenzo Fertitta and asked

"if fedor's management come to the ufc and ask for a contract no co promotion would you discuss it with them or no chamce"

    Lorenzo's reply

    "I would"

To me this is a huge deal because Lorenzo calls the shots over Dana. If im not wrong Crocop had a similar situation, Dana had talked shit about him and Crocop didnt like him so Crocops managment did all their dealings through Lorenzo to sign him.

Lorenzo talking to Vadim who is only after "a normal offer" who clearly has his tail between his legs would be a great thing.

Vadim is right about one thing, Fedor coming to UFC make a huge amount of money for them still. I know myself I have a friends who arent big MMA fans and some who dont watch MMA who know Fedor. It would be very easy to gloss over his SF losses if he came to UFC. They own Pride video footage, knock out a Highlight and they would just need to say "the greatest Hw in history" because whatever they think of his P4p status they can hardly claim a UFC Heavy is better.

I reckon its too late for Fedor to make the impact on UFC he once did but if the interest in Fedor in the UFC is there I could see Lorenzo talking to them.

It depends what Vadim considers a 'normal offer'.

I would say 250K + a small PPV% would be about right for a fighter with Fedors legacy and recent results, given what other fighters make.

Fedor has an at least not negligible chance of beating any fighter in the UFC imo. But we are fast approaching now or never territory.

If Fedor fights at 205 in the UFC, he'll be champion with a year. If he fights at HW, hard to say.

I'm with Anfield on this one. Unfortunately, his days of beating big heavyweights are over. Should he see logic, and drop to 205. There's not many, that i'd back against him.

After seeing 50 year old Mo Smith cut to Lhw and Yvel too this weekend it makes Fedor look really bad for not doing the same. When a fighter takes losses in a Weightclass that doesnt suit him 9/10 times he moves down.

I bet the cut for Yvel and Mo is 10X harder that what it would be for Fedor. Insted of having no good opponents outside the UFC we could see Fedor vs Mo at Lhw or Fedor vs Rampage when he leaves. Fedor has taken a few less than Credible Hw's on and id be more interested to see him vs the winner of Babalu vs Bosse. As green as Bosse is I think he poses more of a threat to fedor than Monson say.

I reckon a cut to 205, a few good showings and a "normal offer" from the UFC could look more like the sort of money M-1 might be expecting.

I've probably said It before and I'll say It again I don't want to see Fedor in the UFC in 2012 especially at HW, God Imagine If he lost to the likes of Kongo or Browne that would be devastating and sadly It could happen.

Agreed. It would ruin him completely.
