It's the clueless ref that was making me laugh aswell.

He wanted to call it a NC,because he said it "wasn't intentional" ,then he tried to cover his Mic and ask the commisioner what he would do,not realizing because the fight was being aired,everyone could hear him.
In the end he was told it had to be a DQ,the ref didn't have a clue what to do.

Even the commentator Jimmy Wheelock,who I usually don't have a problem with,he was talking a load of crap about how it should not be a DQ,it should be a NC.
He kept banging on about,"through his experiance of being a boxing ref",what the fuck does that have to do with someone taking an blatant illegal soccer kick to the face in a MMA match.
He even came out with the,"well it should be a NC,because the guy's from europe where soccer kicks are leagal,and i don't think he had a full understanding of the rules" that is the most stupid excuse posible.

It was obviously intentional, but I do think he just got confused about the rules to be honest. He clearly had no idea that he'd done anything wrong until the ref told him.
