anyone understand this
SPIKE TV aren’t about to let their old friends over at Zuffa headquarters forget about them in a hurry after it was today announced they will aggressively counter program the UFC on FOX 2 card with a UFC Unleashed: Evans vs. Davis show headlined by Rashad Evans and Phil Davis.
SPIKE’s lineup will run from 4.00pm to midnight and feature fights involving Evans and Davis, as well as Chael Sonnen, Mark Munoz and Michael Bisping, all of whom are also fighting on the Fox card on January 28th.
The move is a cheeky one on SPIKE’s part, especially when dubbing it ‘Evans vs. Davis’, who will no doubt be looking to tap into the powerful marketing of the UFC and FOX which has already started promoting the event in Chicago, Illinois. Will this show of replays outdo the free fights on live television? Tell us what you think…
