    cheers cheers

After hearing Ishii wasnt rewarded for Wall 'n Stall tactics in Brazil it was absolutly amazing that Brookins didnt get credited for the same shitty tactics against Koch.

MMAbay reported him as getting "screwed" by the judges and scored it 30-27 for Brooking. (Only to be shot down by a number of readers who all agreed Koch should have got the nod)

Im over the moon Koch won, rewarding tactics like Wall 'n Stall or Wrestlers Turtlefucking is up to the judges because the rules are open to interpretation.

Its clear how the fans score these stalling antics, and im sure the top dogs in UFC dont like to see it as it isnt exciting to watch. The power lies with the ref (on when he breaks up grappling only being used to stall a fight) and the Judges on what they reward.

If I was a judge 4mins 59 seconds of wall and stall with no strikes doesnt even add up to a jab or a leg kick in return.

I hope this is becomes the trend in scoring MMA fights and giving the fans what they want.

this is why they need to change octagon control into trying to finish a fight.

Yeah King for sure, thats the most simple change and it would swing the balance in favor of a agressive fighter, like Petis attempting Subs off his back being better than Guidas new stall tactics.

This shitty loophole in the scoring might be put right the odd time by judges like last night but overall we see fighters adapting their game plan to trying to win by stall tactics.

UFC have already made a rule change in that main events will be 5 rounds even if they are non title so heres hoping the scoring criteria gets changed soon too. Most fans think its a major fault with the sport so youd wonder why it has gone unchanged for so long.

Laughing At least Randy landed some punches when he had them againt the cage, Brookins wasnt looking to inflict damage at all! Randy got lucky with the Vera fight because those judges saw hugging a man for 3 mins as more effective than Knocking a man down with a kick!! Evil or Very Mad

If Randy Couture had done what Brookins did last night, he would have been given that fight 30-27 on all three score cards.

True Anfield and King! The Judges often get caught up in the hype and give the guy the round who is supposed to win or is the more popular round.

King I reckon Randys wall and Stall at least was usually to land uppercuts or get a TD like in the Gonzaga fight at least he really roughed him up, Agressive Cage fighting is ok with me, Brookins was shocking. But in Randys defence he was an old man and playing the game to win is what he needed to do, its like hopkins holding and hitting or clintching too much... do what you can to get the nod from the judges. I give old boys like them a by ball on that sort of thing.

Anfield whats with you being a Sponsor? Also when you getting rid of that Dana White Avatar? Laughing

Never! It's sort of grown on me! Haha!

I have no idea what the sponsor thing is about, but I've been promoted to LHW and it appeared when that happened.

Brookins landed some great elbows against the cage which were the best shots landed in the fight. I hate that wall and stall shit, but he won that fight.
