I dont know about his chin, In his handfull of fights Ive barely seen him hit, admittedly I havnt seen his 1st 4, and Im not sure I want to! He is dull to watch but thats not why I dont rate him. Suppose in a way im commenting on a guy ive missed nearly half his career.... I only followed him from the Bellator tournament.

He is very slow and his strikes dont carry much force at all, im shocked he even has a TKO win. He really isnt ever going to KO anyone standing so its half of the MMA game is out the window for him already, his groundgame and subs are good but I wonder being so heavy if his cardio will hold up in a fast paced fight?

The way I see it is Buentello wasnt even a top 50 ranked guy, as poor as he did in the same event Ricco Rodriguez would have been a much more credible opponent so it seems he is still being spoonfed despite being a champ.

Buentello has won 2 of his last 5 going into this so he should have been the type of opponent a highly regarded guy like Konrad should have looked good against, Tim Sylvia looked a lot better facing him which says a lot. All the Wrestling in the world is great but there have been guys who are top of their field at 1 martial art who have been shite at MMA, Konrad needs a bigger test and needs a change of camp badly.

With his size and Wrestling he doesnt need to be drilling Wrestling day in and day out with Lensar in a camp no one can throw a punch, his Skillset isnt going to improve much where he is.

Got home last night and watched these,good night of fights.

Ricco was embarrassing and lazy, I agree he deserved that. Petrezelli is very exciting to watch, but sadly quite shit, don't think the UFC really missed anything by not keeping him around. Don't think he ever won a fight in the UFC.

I was very impressed with Curran as well, he has a hell of a future IMO. He could be in the UFC sooner rather than later.

Konrad is boring as hell but his wrestling ability is unquestionable. I'd like to see him fight someone like Cromier.
