Sheldan wrote:Good night of action last night, McCloskey was lucky to get the decision, anywhere other than Belfast and he probably would have lost that fight. The Vitali win was as one sided as any, it just shows how good the Klitschko's are, seeing how Haye and Adamek were apparently the ones who would give them their toughest test, and they were beaten with ease. Vitali said he wants 2-4 more fights then he's calling it a day. He also said that he would love to fight in Britain, Vitali VS Haye anyone?

I thought Prescott won that fight too, but the people I watched it with all said I was mad. I had him winning by 2 rounds. It'll be interesting to see if McCloskey gets a rematch with Khan, although Khan wants to face another under-sized, over-the-hill legend in Morales.

Vitali is just too good. He's the perfect HW boxer IMO. I'd love to see him KO Haye but Haye doesn't deserve that fight. Haye should be forced to fight at least once against a top contender before fighting Vitali.

Adamek needs to drop back to CruiserWeight, or even LightHW if he can get there. Can't fault his bravery though.

Did you see the Yuri Gamboa fight? He looked really impressive against Ponce De Leon before it was stopped on the cut.

Dudey certainly got a gift but saying that I felt Prescot gave the fight away losing the later Rounds tired or not he needed to push the action and didn't you can not do that in another fighters backyard as Dudey he looked absolutely shit still don't understand why he insist on using his reflexes he has none you need speed that is something he severely lacks.

Impressed by Frampton he is a class act a natural talent shame the Kiko fight fell through that would have been huge test and be gauge on good he can be.

The Vitali fight was a horrible miss match credit to Adamek though he gave It a go, I don't see anyone touching the Klitchko's the next in line Povetkin & Helenius I don't give any chance to.

Anyone see the Cox vs Sai on Friday that was a travesty Cox should have been thrown out never mind getting a gift the amount of low blows he thrown was no accident IMO.

I know that it was in front of his home fans but I really think that Adamek's corner should have thrown in the towel.

What was the point of keeping him in there? Maybe if you are fighting Wlad you have the chance of a sudden KO but not when you are fighting Vitali.

No, I'll be honest Mayweather is light years ahead of Ortiz If the mediorcre Lamont Peterson can give Ortiz problems only 10 months ago god knows what Mayweather is gonna do to him.

The Berto win was a good win (No doubt he was the legit No 2 at WW the time) but I do think a lot of pundits have overrated that win TBH It's not that I don't rate Berto It just that he has a lot of holes in his game IMO.

Floyd will stop him, that's enough said about that.

Ricky Burns is vacating his super featherweight belt and moving up to lightweight to face Michael Katsidis! I'm surprised that fight has been made as it was heavily rumored that Kevin Mitchell would rematch him. Burns will lose in my opinion.

Prizefighter is on tonight, should be a good watch, they're doing the draw in the ring for the first time in Prizefighter history, better idea than to have it a week in advance, adds to the excitement.

Not surprised Burns has moved up Ricky is a huge Super Featherweight and not surprised Fwanky has set up a WBO Title fight right off the bat. Very Happy

I like Katsidis but I feel Ricky's style and the fact Katsidis previous wars have started to catch up with him should mean a routine win for Ricky I think.

I know Primetime was getting a lot of criticism for one the Froch fights (think It was Dirrell or maybe Taylor) the stream was supposed to awful really choppy but I would imagine It must be OK now though that was 2 years ago.

There are normally some real good streams available on Fight Night I shouldn't mention names as Primetime is probably still on patrol here pirat .

I don't know too much about boxing now but Ortiz has surely got a punchers chance. Mayweather should cruise it but it will be interesting if he takes a couple of really hard shots.

Jonah Lomu has called out Sonny Bill Williams for a boxing match.

Jonah Lomu, on his offer to enter the ring with Sonny Bill Williams: "It's a touchy subject but the offer is still there with his manager."

The big man is a little riled by SBW's cold shoulder. "For him to say I had no credibility and then fight somebody on the sick [Williams ended up fighting the unimpressive Alipate Liava'a from Tonga who, it transpired, was on sickness benefit at the time], well that's one sure way of fucking me off. I want to get him in a boxing ring one day.

"If he steps in the ring with me he'll do so at his peril. I might not be a boxer as such, but I know the sport and I can fight. If you hit me, I'll hit you back so hard you'll wish you hadn't."

That would be fun to watch Smile

Lomu will be fighting in a charity event over here called Fight for Life. They have arranged it so former and current rugby players will be fighting league players, with some big names signed up, Lomu the biggest of them. Carlos Spencer, Troy Flavell, Liam Messam, Christian Cullen and Slade McFarland, and of course Lomu will be representing rugby while Joe Vagana, Wendall Sailor, Monty Betham, Isaac Luke and Jerry Seuseu will be some of the league stars.

While it is only a charity event, these dudes really leave it in the ring so there will be some pretty interesting fights, probably not in a technical sense though.... Laughing

Mayweather will wipe the floor with Ortiz, he'll stop him between the 6th and 9th round. Fair play to the build up shows though, they've done a good job in making it seem like Ortiz has a good chance of winning this fight, mission accomplished.

PBF is still the best boxer in the world
don't like the guy,but shit, talent is talent, the guy can have two years out of the sport and still beat any current #1 challenger in his division.

I'd love pacman to win if they fought, but i wouldn't put a penny of my own money on it happening,PBF will win that fight no matter when or if it ever happens.
