yes he has serious cajones and a seriously awesome hair style, but he just isnt a very good fighter compared to the rest of the HOF.

has he ever been a top 5 fighter in any division?

Yeah Choi is the biggest figher in the plannet, taller and heavier than Valuev even! He may have looked to be a bit slower recenttly but he is still and ex K-1 champ. If Minowa at 190lbs can beat Choi at twice his size I think he has earned his place. Ill wait till after the superhulk tournament before I update the HOF..

Bj and Anderson will also go in unless someone puts forward a good case for them not to.

if your putting in bj and silva why not GSP hes done more than bj imo apart from bj having two belts in two different weight classes

Yeah thats a good point, GSP is a better fighter than either but at 28 he probabally hasnt even hit his Prime yet!! He is in for sure, but I just dont think anyone that young should be in the hall of fame... I dont think we have any fighers that young so far. GSP has been top p4p for ages now so his place is secure in the HOF....

I dont know what do people think? Is it ok to have a figher under 30 in the hall of fame?

Thats why I was holding Fire on GSP, Bj and Silva as their careers are still going strong, Silvas is coming to an end and he is 33 (I think) BJ is 30 but feels like he has been around forever, Puting Gomi in just made me think Penn should go in.

SO those 3 are going in... its just a matter of time when.

Tito is a couple of fights away from going in...
Minowa will go in if he beats Choi
Jeremy Horn will go in due to his sheer number of fights... maby ill add him after his next win
Mach Sakurai is very close again a win or 2 any you couldnt overlook him

Anyone else people would like added to the list that are close to being Hall of Famers?

What do you think about Pulver Ben? His record isn't excellent and he is 1-3 against fellow HOFers but he was the best LW in the world once upon a time. He was one of the true pioneers of the LW division in the UFC, His career towards the end of his career went into a downwards spiral but he was a star in the earlier days. He was of the first typical "underdog" fighers who defied the odds. 11 KOs and 3 subs, I mean at the end of the day he was more successful than Minowa and was a better fighter in his division. Just a thought, mabe not.

Nah Pulver is lowering the bar too far... he was a good figher back in the day and 1st UFC champ for me is no better than 2nd or 3rd...

If you think if Pulver goes in all sorts of fighers will... even a guy like say Nate MArquardt, 7 time king of Pancrase etc.. you could make a case for a lot of fighers who arent hall of fame standard if someone like Pulver gets in.

Ye ok fair enough, although Nate should be in the HOF Wink

I agree about GSP as well, there is no need for him to be put in at the momment because at this stage its inevitable and there is possibly better to come from him. As I said before, I think Tito should go in with a win over Coleman.

Also I can't believe you left out Andy Wang and Marlon Sims. Smile

Lads quick question if Fedor is the best MMA figher of all time who is the 2nd best?

Wandy? Liddell? Nog? Gracie? Sakuraba? Who do you all think diserves to be called the 2nd best of all time behind Fedor... I dont know, Personally I think Wandy for being the most dominant figher in the most competitive devision and going 5 years undefeated... I can see a good case for a lot of the hall of fame..

    Who do you all think?

Cool, That sounda fair I take It your hoping for Nog tonight? Im watching it with My Brothers whos favorite figher is both Randy and my Bros G/friend whos fav fighter is Nog, Ill be hoping Nog wins despite perdicting a loss! its 2 Nog fans in here and 2 randy fans!! He looked in good shape having cut right down to 231lbs, His Boxing looks sharp, I forgot he isnt a half bad striker though I still feel that Randy takes it on the feet, I expect him to outstrike him and if he isnt doing that well dirtyboxing against the cage.... I hope im wrong, Like I said im a fan of both but Id be more gutted to see Nog loose seeing as he is a lot younger. Crazy this is Randys 2nd 3 round fight in the UFC!

Kit is shit! im sure he will get KO'd! I like Bang Ludwig!! Wasnt he a Kickboxing champ? He had a few great fights in Strikeforce! Cant wait till the 2nd series though, I like the Asia version better than the Boxing one because the Boxing one never seems to show whole unedited fights... the sound effects are needless!

i never seen him fight just heard hes an idiot but he was going out with gina carano so i gotta give him some props lol they have the sound effects in the asia one too but i think the fights are more exciting because all the fighters are well known top level guys so the fights do be good and yeah ludwig was a world champ beat malapet for the title who is the only thai in it this year as they would not let in khem fairtex even though he won a qualifing tournament because he doesnt speak english which is a load of bollix if you ask me

Haha you know Id have him in Shogun and Wandy are my 2 fav fighers but again he is too young and his career could take a turn for the worse. A string of losses and he wouldn fit in... Im sure we will see him in there in the future but he is only 27 still!! Lets wait a while on that one.

I think it has mentioned somewhere else but Travis Fulton has to go in - he may not be the best fighter out there but he should go in for his love for and dedication to the sport and his sheer workrate - a true MMA legend!!!!

Tito should easily be in this HOF.... If he wasn't around you could argue there would be no UFC

He's right for once. Dana and the Fertitta's built the modern day UFC on Tito's back after Shamrock left. He should def be in.
