Or not... Davis will gas, get stopped and then either get cut or retire or both. He's had his five minutes.

Re: New MMA Calendar
Davis always comes out swinging though, I expect Stevens to brutalise him but Davis will be a big Lw, I think this will be a war for 2 rounds anyway. Good matchmaking I think I doubt anyone expects a dull moment regardless if its 1,2 or 3 rounds.
I could see him getitng Cut too if he looses. And I dont think he would want to fight elsewhere.

I think Davis will have some problems with that cut. He wasn't a small welterweight by any means.

Strikeforces matchmaker needs fired! Whoever they are seem to be more focused on putting exciting fights on as opposed to relevant ones

Re: New MMA Calendar
Best senario is Sefo looks a beast after his time at Xtreme Couture and demolishes Rogers. Sefo in the Mix would be outstanding! Rogers GnP I reckon though

Yea, to an extenet. Though they're never gonna be taken seriously as a promotion unless they put on fights that actually matter!

Re: New MMA Calendar
http://mmaweekly.com/ufc-128-headed-to-abu-dhabi-on-march-19-2011-shogun-vs-evans-possible-headliner
The UFC has planned their next trip to the Middle East and it will take place on March 19 in Abu Dhabi for UFC 128.
Multiple sources confirmed the booking to MMAWeekly.com on Wednesday, with the UFC making their return trip to Abu Dhabi for the first time since their debut show on April 10, 2010.
The event will be dubbed UFC 128 which means the promotion will have back to back major events overseas as UFC 127 is currently slated for Australia at the end of February.
While no fights have been confirmed for the card, sources indicated to MMAWeekly.com that the fight being considered for the main event is Mauricio “Shogun” Rua defending his light heavyweight title against Rashad Evans.
Rua has been sidelined following knee surgery, but his return status was recently rumored for March and the UFC 128 date would fit into those plans.
More details about the Abu Dhabi card will be forthcoming in the next few weeks, but as of now the UFC will head back to the Ferrari World Arena where they held UFC 112 last year.

Re: New MMA Calendar
Sefo vs Rogers is brilliant match-making! What complete nonsense to claim otherwise. Rogers is a banger who needs a win to get back on track in Strikeforce. Sefo is a banger who will stand and trade with him and test him.

Re: New MMA Calendar
Did anyone see that article on Sakara the other day?
He was saying that he's thinking about moving up to HW soon, because he claims that between fights he walks around at anywhere between 225lb and 250lb and doesn't want to cut anymore as he finishes his career.
Deluded fool,he couldn't cut it with the middle of the road UFC LHW's now he thinks he can have a go with the HW's.
Found the article.
He also wants to fight Bisping

Re: New MMA Calendar
the talent pool at 205 (in the UFC) is better than at heavyweight, maybe he has a chance.
he isnt a fool, he is just a big guy who doesnt want to hinder himself with this weight cutting.

sorry didn't mean to offend with the deluded fool remark
IMO the only way he fights at HW,is outside the UFC on some smaller shows against some nobodies,he'd get murdered and cut in a heartbeat if he fought any UFC HW.
