I've not watched this yet but I've been according to Lowkick.com it's apparently a "fight of the year candidate"...

3 year break, travels the world training with some of the best martial arts practitioners in the world, then headbutts Watson's fist for 25 minutes... comical. He should have stuck to BB. As for Watson, i wuz nut imperezzed wit iz purformeenz. Should stick to the small shows IMO.

Re: BAMMA 4 Videos
neither fighters are really very good, especially not Reid.
either way it was a really good brawl, and i know lots of people were watching this that don't normally tune in to MMA, so hopefully its made some new MMA fans!!!
sort of the Griffin/Bonnar of the UK perhaps?

Fair play to Reid, he's got some balls.
He looked quite good in the first round but I think his lack of activity caught up with him by the 3rd round.
What kind of level do people see BAMMA???
Its on in newcastle in a while and Bobb Sapp is on the card, was thinking of going as it is getting near pantomime season!!!

Re: BAMMA 4 Videos
my wife is taking me to bamma 5.
reid was awful if watson was any better he would have smashed reid in 3 minutes. he had reid rocked about 6 times and each time instead of hitting him again he went for a half assed takedown.

Re: BAMMA 4 Videos
I only know the bare minimum about Reid,so I'm completely neutral.
I thought that was a very enjoyable fight, not the highest standard of skilled fighters obviously, but they both fought nearly ever second of each rd,they gave it loads,Heart, guts and one of the most important things that I like to see in a fight, they both had the cardio to keep giving it there all till the fight finished.
Watson was a clear winner, but Reid can hold his head up high after that showing IMO.
I do miss the british crowds during sporting events,so much better than the US audiences IMO,for me the British are the best at creating an atmosphere on the planet(from men and women) in our stadiums and arenas.
It makes me miss home after seeing it again.
Then I think of all the other shit in England and that feeling passes very quickly

I did one last year but I found it a bit of a pain in the ass to tally all the votes. Think I'll let someone else do it this year.

Are there any links to Gunnar's fight, remember seeing him on an earlier BAMMA and he looked really impressive

Loved this fight. Strikeforce should snap Watson up, he's a warrior, maybe not UFC calibre though.

Re: BAMMA 4 Videos
UFC offered him a contract awhile ago which he turned down. I dont think he'd do that well in either UFC or Strikeforce.
He's been fighting for MFC in Canada, so theres no reason he cant start fighting for some of the better American and Japanese promotions, or even KSW.
